What make you happier in travelling, the place or the person you go with?

When I went touring, sometimes I felt very excited but sometimes not. I went to many wonderful places with the same man but usually not felt very excited, just trying to think that it's good with so many eyeopeners; but when I went to some place that were not very much beautiful or famors with my colleagus, I enjoyed more joyful feeling and kept excited all the way round. So I wonder the real meaning of touring: which is more important, the place you visit, or the people you go with?

The people that I'm with and the place. People makes the experience more fun and memorable. You get to enjoy wonderful moments, share beautiful stories while going around and most especially, you get to cry and laugh together!
Then, to make the trip really worth it, new places are worth discovering. That's the time that we get to appreciate the beauty and surprises that each place gives us.

I'm in favor of your point. I do put people you go touring counts higher than the places you go to visit. I have such experiences when I went to Guilin with other two persons, they had different perspective in the allocation of time and the scapes to visit, they couldn't reach an agreement and no one wanted to concede. I felt so depressed and even in the beautiful scenery, none of use really enjoyed it.
