it's really a frightening friday the 13th for University of the Philippines students. the CRS team has to solve a lot of problems. hay. you could imagine the lenght of the line just to get your form 5a printed out, get your webmail account info, and just to enlist for subjects. and this is just summer classes. hope they solve it as soon as possible.

thankfully, when i entered this university, crs has already taken effect. so since i was a freshman, i just had to go online and enlist the subjects that i wanted to take and wait for the results. of course, when i was a sophomore though, only about 50% of your desired subjects get approved and the rest you will have to do through the qeue. and what a bummer when that happens. especially when they really run out of slots and you have to go for prerogs. just responding to this discussion brings back all the experience. and yeah, the crs team has to make sure that they perform all maintenance operation when crs is not on the peak of its usage. but well, i don't exactly have any first hand information how they do it so who am i to comment. but still, they need to make sure it's available for use when it is needed.

I checked the CRS today to see the available subjects this first semester. But the site could not display the pages I wanted. There must be something wrong that's why they will have maintenance starting tomorrow up to the 16th. My, my,my, I need to see what subjects I can sign up for. I hope it will be fixed ASAP
