who is best A R Rehman Or illayaraja?

of course it is illayaraja.. he is a legend.. no one can give variety as him.. A.R.Rehman is good but Illayaraja is the best..his songs are still a hit, but a.r rehman's songs don't stay in our heart for longer time.. when it comes to melody, illayarraja is mind blowing.A.R.Rehman works much over instruments than over the tune and melody.. nowadays his standard has even decreased..don't think am against him.. even i was once the fan of rehman, but then old is gold, which keeps attracting more...

ppl,think of this...its almost 4 decades back when ilayaraaja came into industry...and the music he gave to the cinema industry was like, the best tamil cinema can have. till date i think the bgm from illayaraja is unbeatable. i dont stand against ARR. he's gr8, he has created a different dimension in the music of indian cinema.. but when u think abt the technology available and compare it with the old, u've to appreciate the fact that illayaraja , the real maestro , did the best possible contribution to music. That made ARR to come up. I'm sure if ther's no illayaraja, there's no ARR.

Theres no doubt that A R Rahman is the best music director ever. The industry is blessed to have a person so talented. He is the best and theres no one who can beat him. He is simply a rocker and he sets all charts on fire as soon as his music is released.

As far as I know A R Rehman is the best music composer in India. He is acclaimed golbally and has started handling international projects like lord of the rings musical etc. No other music composer has churned out so many varieties of music as he has. A R Rehman rulez!
