How is it some posted discussions garner hundreds of replies?

I just wonder why some myLot members have discussions posted and gets as much as 250 replies, when same topic posted by others barely gets ay reply?

you need to be methodological and shrewd..hey, don't get me wrong, i'm far from being one of those efficient discussers, and i mean to say that in a good way (peace?V).. if you can find time to observe them/theirs, i'm sure you'll figure out why. it's really a combo of factors, which i won't spoonfeed on you.. me, i'm here partly to earn (penny craver) but the most part is to improve my writing skill/speed (2 wpm to 80), to think in english.. not to mention the fun part.

i think it probably depends on how many friends you have. if you have a lot of friends on your list they will all see your discussion and comment on it for you, but for those of us that are new at this and don't have friend on our list yet we are on our own. lol
