are we all fuels?

fuels are the energy storing components and we ignite them to release such energy. when such energies are released they are used by us by various ways. likewise we are storing energy in our body and releasing energy by doing works. we tend to be like a rechargable batteries .we eat and store energy and release them as we work. like fuels we leave aside carbon in any form as their residue we breathe and respire and release carbondioxide as the residue. thus we are becoming more or less like a fuel does. like wise we are made up of celulose which is a carbon compound. is this analogy maks you believe?
