What if one day you were unfortunate enough to lose everything , house, car, money, etc. and had nobody to turn to? Forced into the streets to live? Could you survive with all that goes on these days? I would like to think that I am self-sufficient enough that I could probably survive. I have lived somewhat of a rough life already and got through times similar to this situation. I think that I could probably make it, I had a friend in this type of situation who had nowhere to go and at the time my mother wouldn't let him stay at our house, so I chose to stay on the streets with him for about two months until he was able to make better arrangements. I couldn't bear to let him be alone for fear of what might happen to him. Let me say it's not an easy life, and people sure don't choose to be in that type of situation. Most of them are good people just down on their luck. So what about you, Could you do it?

Absolutely, A country boy can survive. Albeit I am not exactly from the country. I grew up in Philadelphia, Pa. which is so so far from country. But I have fished, hunted and traped since I was young. Not always with conventional means.

Yeah, I grew up in the country. It's definately helpful to know how to hunt and fish. I come from a long line of hunters, and actually have hunted myself. I think any strong willed person can make it. Thanks have a good day.

Been there done that...mind you I didnt have kids back then (I was just a kid myself) but if for some unfortunate reason we ended up losing it all I could certainly survive.....I'm a street kid through and through and now that i'm an adult with many yrs under my belt compared to then I would be able to pull it off AND getting back on my feet wouldnt be hard at all (I'd just go back to dancing for a few weeks)...No its not an easy life at all and no none of us chose to live like that by any means....

If that day comes , that would be a challenge to me. I wouldn't even ask from others.I would strive harder to work and earn money to improve my life. I wont blame others for that , but i will think of somethings to regain what I have lost. I may have lost material things but I haven't lost my brain.I will think and act to get myself on that situation.Perseverance, determination and hard work will lead me to something better. Discipline is a must. That is all what we need to improve one's self and the country. How about you?

It is possible for me to survive, but it will be a very hard life. The city is extremely messy and certain rules are very strict while others are not, so if you can weave through the holes, you'll make it. I suppose if i somehow end up on the streets, I'll have to find a job quick and start from the scratches again.
