How do you feel about scenes in movies that depict cruelty to animals?

I don't know what it is, but when I see some poor dog or cat falling into a meat grinder or getting beheaded, even though I know it's CGI, it makes me ill. Strangely enough, I don't have a problem with seeing human beings falling into meat grinders or getting beheaded! LoL! I suppose I've seen one too many horror films. Am I nuts?
