hi, I don't really like to give links but this one seems to have some interesting facts about some favourite foods and their contents. Luckily we rarely eat do-nuts and never McD's etc, not quite a horror story but worth thinking about. Let me know what you think please.http://www.ediets.com/news/article.cfm/code_22382/cmi_2426763/

Thankfully reading this link I can say I do not eat any of this crap and I am so glad I don't.
My mum was telling me the other day how the Japanese have started to become obese because of the introduction of Krispy Kremes. I have never had one but they sound terrible. Why are these foods allowed to be sold when the government is always telling us to loose weight and stay healthy. It makes me sick!!
If these foods were not available then people would not eat them. I wish people would ban these fast food chains from their diets, then they would all go out of business. That would be the best thing. No wonder we are such an unhealthy race and getting bigger and more sick by the day.

I thank my lucky stars that my eating habits are not that bad. I hate the taste of do-nuts so never eat them.
Now I am a vegetarian so out goes chicken too. I do not eat much of fried foods, "potato" according to my diet plan has zero goodness quality in it I do not eat potatoes maybe one or two meals a month for potato not more. Do not eat hot dogs either again I am vegetarian. hate the taste of mayo so never eat that either, hate the bubbles in soda so I do not have much of soda either and even if I have soda it is one of those lemon falvored ones that come in the smallest of cans I think it is 4 Oz if I am not wrong. The only fault is I eat noodles but I can not munch down more than half a pack I also add about 1/4 cup peas, 1/2 cup french cut beans, 1/4 cup julliened carrots and 1/2 cup chopped onion to the noodles, so actually it is not that bad. I have 2 bad habits one is I have a sweet tooth for chocolates , that too milk ones (Cadbury chocolates) I infact buy them from a guy who imports it all the way from England and the second is white bread I simply can not develop taste for wheat bread or any other kind either, it shall be my last day on earth if I had to switch from white bread to anything else, can not let go of it, I know, I know it is a bad habit but the love for those hearty cut, buttery white bread is worth all the diseases it shall give me in future. How about you what are you weaknesses from that chart?

You're doing really well, I don't eat much of any of those, soup is the worst for me in winter but usually it's just veg so I'll check the tins more or make and freeze my own next year.
My worst thing is biscuits - ginger or coconut rings but digestives are usually snuggled up in the cupboard to.
