Depending on whether the piece is an instrumental, accapella or duet, I let music take me as far into inspiring imaginal realms as I can cognitively go. The further into awareness one can creep the more personal the tapestry of life they weave will be. Music is the universal language;while speaking individually it collectively touches volumes and volumes of souls in-touch with the ethereal elements of many beautiful pieces written over the centuries. All music appeals to me for I am an eclectic being but those special songs, lyrically profound or instrumentally sound, reminding me of days when complexities were rare and pleasures were appreciated, never taken for granted. I had the wonderful opportunity as a 'fledging rock-star' to join a band in my early twenties and lead sing. I wrote the lyrics to and co-wrote music for the only song I ever took to heart and made my very own from a poem that was lived for about 16 months. It was a very emotional experience that through music, I created, helped me heal. Phenomenal ! the properties in music therapy are . . . Erica aka sojournseeker

Music is not life for me. I hear to good songs whenever i need relaxation. Music helps to relax myself and keep my mind free of the tensions.

I also have music playing. It's my personal soundtrack. I'm not sure how much I am inspired by it but I know it does motivate me. I start listening to some good rock and I can pretty much push my way through any situation.

My wife has a very lovely voice, she has done solo's at our church and has sung at weddings and such. She used to play the guitar a bit but with two very young children they eat up alot of time. She says i have a good voice and should take lessons but i am not sure about that, i have alot of questions like, am i too old ? can i really sing good enoguh and such. I would love music to be my life like yours is. Maybe one day our dream can come true before i hit 90 ;) Keep on going and i wish you the best of luck my friend, Shane
