The Truth

Truth - The Truth.

Why are people so afraid of the truth? Why are they afraid to seek it out? I admit the truth scares me and I don't know why, but I still actively seek it out. I look for the truth that is hidden behind so many layers of lies. I willingly open my mind to all real truths. I don't understand why most people don't want to do the same. I don't understand why they cling to their beliefs and their lies. Everyone just wants to conform to what society expects of them. They don't want to rock the boat as it were. Most people just seem to accept what they are told without questioning it. No one questions what is on the news or in textbooks when in reality that information is very incomplete and inaccurate. I could tell people the truth all day long and they wouldn't believe me. Why is the truth so hard to believe? Even my own family doesn't believe the things I tell them. I think perhaps it's because the real truth is so completely different from the only reality that people have known. I suppose most people can't handle a drastic reality shift so they close their minds to the truth. My mind isn't completely free yet, but I'm getting there, I'm a lot closer to having a free mind than most people in this world. I wish I could help other people to open their minds, but I can't help people who don't want to be helped. i really agree i love David icke, people say he`s mad but i think its because they have just made there mind up before listening to what he has to say. the thing is in every country the government lies so all sorts could be going on and everyone`s oblivious to it if they would only keep a open mind they would learn a lot more.

so glad I found this discussion here. David Icke is incredible! I am so glad I read his books, the amount of work and effort he has put into them is phenomenal. He is such an inspired guy and has been through so much humiliation to get his views through. I really hope that as time goes on, more and more people will read his books and give him a chance. I admit they all seem abit wacky to start with, but the essence of it all just made total sense to me.

I think that people don't like change. They may even realize the truth but feel safer not making a change. I read a book about change. Good change and bad change. Most people fear change even if it is the truth. Look at Jesus. The Jewish leaders feared Him even though they knew the truth. They did not want to change and accept the truth. Instead they crucified Him.

You've got some good points there. I have to say though that it was the Romans that crucified Jesus and not the Jews. I honestly don't think he ever actually existed anyway. The same story about the crucification and the resurrection of a son of god can be found in many different cultures that all existed thousands of years before the Jesus story. The only difference is that in those other cultures, they knew that the story was just a legend. Most people in this world think the whole Jesus thing actually happened.

"Everyone just wants to conform to what society expects of them. They don't want to rock the boat as it were. Most people just seem to accept what they are told without questioning it" many ppl do live like that but not everyone by any means...I question and research everyhting that comes into my life...I'm a Virgo, very analytical ppl..BUT David Icke is a raging lunatic and quite frankly I dont see what he has to od with each of us finding the truth..the guy is a nutcase...

What makes you think he is a lunatic? Just because what he has to say is so completely different from your reality? I seriously want to know what your reasons are for thinking him to be insane.

i have 2 friends that are really into david icke. i just started looking into it. i watched a doc and i am reading one of his books. i think he is great. he makes alot of sense. you are right people look at you like you are nuts. i wish more people were open minded so that they could see that there is other things to look into. i dont care what others think really. i try to teach my kids that happiness comes from within and not from what others offer. we dont have alot but we are happy. things always come out ok for us. if people would stop worrying about the jones's or what everyone would think they would be alot happier and then alot more would get done and people would feel so much better
