Five Lines to a Higher Payout?

I just read another post that piqued my interest. I have people asking me how to earn more on here all the time, but even after 1300+ posts I still don't have a very good idea. I saw on another post that if your discussions are 5 lines or more that you earn more money (along the lines of above 2 cents each) than if you just write a short little bit. Do any of you know if there is any truth to this or how you can really earn more on here?
A couple of my referrals want to know, they aren't impressed with the site so far and haven't been very active.

There really isn't anyone that has true formula for deciphering the mylot algorythem. So all I can really contribute is to post and answer with quality. I Am starting to track the things that I do here in an effort to at least be able to make a consistant amount. I know that some people are saying that they are amking anywhere from 1.00 to 4.00 per day and I just dont get it there are day's that I work my but off and don't even see close to a dollar
Oh no I just became one of the whiners ooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwww

Haha, I can give you a little bit of advice if you are just trying to get up to a dollar a day. I usually download the daily maximum of pictures that you can upload onto here as soon as I log on every day and that usually gets me somewhere between 12 cents and 53 cents per day. After uploading a bunch of pictures I know that I've made a little money for the day already so I start participating in discussions till my mind goes blank. So pictures, pictures, pictures. Give it a shot.

I will do that strategy when I reach the magic 500 post number, a post also says that pictures you have uploaded will earn you money per view, there are still many ways we can enjoy my lot and on the same time earn...

I have done quite a few posts but I am ashamed to say I have no ideas too. We need those who post consistently long responses to check it out. The length of my responses vary too much that I can't do any real experiments.

I don't bother to experiment anymore, it seems like you waste so much time trying to figure out a pattern, but you could have been spending that time responding to tons of posts and earning a lot more money! And that's what most of us are on here for isn't it?

I'm here for the conversations. Also to kill time while sitting here at work. The pay is just a small bonus. It isn't enough to get excited about, but it's nice.

Well, i've been consistently posting responses not discussions that are over 5 lines. ANd as far as i know, earlier i was averaging to around 4 cents or 3 cents a post. However, since the past 2 or 3 days, i've seen my earnings drop although the average has still stayed the same, which is around 3 cents a post. I've seen claims of people earning as high as 6 cents a post which is too good! However, an average response of the length of this one, earns about 3 cents a post. So, taking an average of 20 or so posts, you could easily make a dollar a day here!

As you can see, I am very new to myLot. But, I've heared that 3-4 liners earn people about 1 cent per post. I've heard though that if you make nice, long posts that contribute to the discussion, you'll get 3-8 cents per post.

Well, yes, apparently it seems true that quantity does matter when it comes to earnings on Mylot, but even if you write a certain number the post needs to have good content to be rewarded well. I think tagging a discussion with the right tags while you are responding to i also helps.

I think what you are saying is true beause well when i first signed up with mylot it said someting about the more you participate the more you earn but all you really have to do it look at your earning and well tally all of them up and well if you have 10 tallys and 10 cents in your account then you only make 1 cents for the participation and well so on.

the truth of the matter is that how exactly mylot work out what to pay us is a closely guarded secret. Much as we may try to maximise earnings, much as some people think they have worked out the best way to do it, no one outside of mylot actually knows for certain. However, what is clear is that mylot will only pay pay for quality and that seems to mean a substantial response that actually answers the question.
If your referals are here only for the earnings they will surely be disappointed. However, if they do engage with the site they will enjoy it and get a lot out of it
blessed be

Well, I guess we are all clueless here on mylot.
Its a mystery that we have been trying to unfold but have failed so many times and we are left with just wild guesses and false generalizations.
The one thing I know for sure here is the quality of posts that one makes spells the difference in our earning patterns and if you add a picture its also another plus.
What I have discovered is that when you reached 500th post you will be able to add pictures to others discussions so, it s a very meaningful advantage to add meaningful pictures to our responses coz that will surely add another .01 to our earnings. It may sound very little but if we do a little more of our maths here, for example we respond to 10 discussions per day with each having a picture your .10 per day so if you post just 10 responses for 10 days with picture each so it gives you another .10 * 10, so another dollar for only pictues. Now how about we make more than 10 posts a day with pictures for each so it could give our earnings a level higher than posting with out pictures. Now thats only applicable to those you ahve reached 500th posts. But for those who have not yet reached that level we will just limit adding pictues to our own discussions here.

I think after the introduction of the new payout system, mylot now stress more on quality of the responses, and according to my own experience, I think it is true, and they wiull pay you more if your responses are og good quality. Few weeks ago, I had this experiment, I had 35 replies ,all of them are more than 8 lines, some of them are even more than 15 lines, and I earned 2.6 dollars at that day, although i may not be a high amount when compare to other members, it is the higest for me already. I also uploaded more than ten photos ,but I only eanred around 5 cents for them, so I think it is not worth to spend the time to upload photos if you need to search a photo for long time,it is better to focus on the discussions. I am quite sure three to four lines reposnes will not give you much credits as I can see many members complaining about the low payout in mylot, but they are only replyign with less than 2 lines.
That is the reason why I will try to type what I know when replying, I also enjoyed in doing this.
Hope it helps ,it is only my personal experience.
Work hard together.

The person from whom i was referred here to this site, also told me write every response or discussions with atleast 4- lines. And i have been doing that and telling that to my referrals. But, i really dont know whether it has helped me or not with my earning money here. Also, i was told to maintain quality with my posts, and di would anyway do that if i weren't told about it.

I'm still new here in myLot and I have been here for about four days, my earnings are 1.51 for about 72 posts. I don't know whether more lines can produce higher earnings but I just try not to think about it, since most of us really do not know how their earning program works.

Probably your referrals get below $0.10 a day so that's why it didn't quite impressed them so far. I receive only 0.13 in my first day joining mylot but now i have gain more and could see my earnings increasing day after day. (2nd day i received 0.46, third day 0.94) :) Hopefully i will gain more today. ;) Definitely a long and descriptive response affect your total earnings. Each day i will set a target of at least 10 response since i don't have all the time online. But in my free time, i guess i would do more than that. I've been advised to at least load a pic everyday too and i assume it has helped my earning so far. For me, mylot is getting more and more exciting as we could gain more if we do our discussion smartly. :) I would also help my friends and respondent by rate them positive each time they gave response to my discussions. ;) im sure this will affect the total earnings too.

Honestly, I don't really care lol. The discussions on mylot are all varied and so the length of my posts vary too much to say for sure.
The general consensus is that if you type more than 4 sentences you will get paid more than you would for lets say, one or two sentences.
The way Mylot figure out their payment rate is probably the best kept secret on the 'net and with good reason. I say don't worry about what you're going to get paid each day. Just post and have fun.

O only new that we should always follow the myLot rules and always make sure that we only post those discussions that have quality. As much as possible we will make it more descriptive and avoid those discussions as opposed to myLot.Good Luck my friend.

If you see, there is a small hint on every response page that says "please be as descriptive as possible". I think that Mylot is indirectly telling us that the more we write, the more money we will make. I haven't heard of the five-line rule so I'm not sure if that's true or not, but it would stand to reason that the more you write, the more you make. I also have referrals who are frustrated with the site which is disappointing to me, but not enough for me to stop posting.

Well I'm not exactly sure myself because I haven't been here long enough to know. However, I've experienced higher paydays with longer posts. Also it's probably to make sure that your post is free from and grammar and things like that. I think that myLot is also paying out higher for posts with less grammatical mistakes. Well here is my five line response. I'm not sure if they pay more to post reply or to create discussion topics.

I see. I am also signed up under someone... My friend seems to be telling me that to earn some good money from this site you must post long lengthy quality posts. So im not entirely sure. I am going to keep on trying and see. Hopefully there are also other ways to make money here. I saw that you can also earn from posting photos in your discussions and stuff of the sort. But i wonder if you actually get paid much for that either?
