years ago my husband thought he was going to start a business and so he and I purchased these towels which were supposed to be amazing and we could make a business .When we got them they were no more than ugly wash cloths and we knew we couldn't sell the to any one. We used them ourselves to wash dishes and they were not even that good, two washes and they were rags. What was the stupidest thing you ever bought and what did you do with it?

An easy one. That last house we bought turned into the money pit. It seemed like we had to replace most of it within the first year. new bathroom, plumbing, waterpump. some electrical work, insulation. We finally gave up and sold the place after we came to the conclusion it would never end. Hopefully my wife will reconsider her dislike of condos.

Same here. My house was a pretty stupid purchase. I really wish I that to do all over again...knowing what I know now. I got taken. They just put a whole bunch of lipstick on a pig and I bought it. Hey out there!!! Do your research.!!!!

My husband bought a laser and a smoke machine...you know, like the ones they have in discos!!! Why? Don't ask me. He spent hundreds of dollars on them and used it a couple of times. Now, it's just sitting in the garage. Oh...he also bought this $500 gym set 2 years ago. It's still sitting in the garage, NOT put together. It just looks like a big pile of junk.

I guess it has to be this perfume; it was on sale at 19.99$ and worth over 60$ (it was So de la Renta by Oscar de la Renta) but there was no tester...i bought two anyways, not even knowing if i'd like it!! I ended up not liking it of course. i gave one to my mom, cuz she liked it, and sold the other one on ebay about a month ago! Talk about stupid!

Ooo tuffy, im an inpulse buyer on anything that is a REALLY good offer, wether i really need it or not lol. It would propbably have to be wool. Im always thinking, i'll start knitting again because i enjoy it and i want to learn to make things.. but within a few months ive barely touched it and i end up chucking it all away because its either cluttering up space or its all unravelled everywhere. God knows how many times i have bought needles, it all adds up after a while!

I haven't bought alot of anything that turned out to be bad like you. I have bought products that didn't meet my expectations though. I think of the top of my head that self tanner is the stupidest thing I have ever bought. I always turn a funky color from it. I fell for the hype that this one was different and it cost alot more too so... I still turned orange!

I recently bought shampoo on sale..I always use pantene and since it was on sale I grabbed alot..Got it home and it is for someone black which I'm not..I washed my hair and it made my hair feel like wax..It has straightener in it ...Needless to say I can not use it and the store where I bought it is an hour and a half away so it's not like I can return all this shampoo....I need to be sure I have my glasses with me so I can read the labels..lol

I dont know if this is the stupidist, but we bought one of those home fog dishes when they first came out, pretty, but expensive. I think we used it twice, and now it just collects dust on the top of our 6 foot bookcase.

I am an impulsive buyer and whenever I saw something on sale I tend to grab and buy them. One time I saw a DVD i bought it and when I came home I saw that I already have the same title. And there's also an instance that I bought a pair of pants from a rack of sale item without fitting it, it turn out that sizes from that store doesn't fit me..
