My grandson accidentally put Love Comes Softly into the dvd player this morning

He's seen it a couple times, and really doesn't mind watching it, However, he was looking for a little more action, being6 and into pirates and ninja and such. When he went to turn it off, the baby started screaming at him because she wanted to see it again. She is just about 17 months old. So, we watched that movie for the umteenth time. What is it about this movie that makes every age like it? i know it isn't the religion, because they don't understand that part.

Kids like shows for reasons that adults just don't understand. It may be the music, the action, the colors, but something that they find appealing, or they would not enjoy seeing them over and over.

That's really cute that your little girl wanted to see the movie. I have seen the movie a couple of times. Plus the follow up movies. I liked everything about the movie and think that it's a good hearted movie for every age group. It's nice and clean not dirty and stupid. It's about real life happenings in the 1800's.
