Does God exist?

I know that there is a higher power that everyone believes in, but there are many that believe in God. How can we say that there is a God when he was never a physical being? So many don't believe in fairies, elves, or ghosts, for instance, but they believe in God. Would that not be the same concept? Would they not be believing in something, or someone that they have never seen before. I will admit that I believe that there is a higher power, but I am not sure what, who, why, or how.

IT varies by ones culture and predisposition to faith. From a Pagan Standpoint God is all around us he is part of nature. From a Buddhist stand point God doesnot exsist because onyl through suffering can one attain enlightenment and break the chains of karma so yes and no at once to your question

I figured that you would comment on this one :). Pagan believes in Goddess and God, but a different kind of God from a Christian stand point.

In my opinion, there is abundant proof of God's existence everywhere. Just take the human body, for example. It's so intricately designed. A design suggests a designer. To my way of thinking, that's pretty compelling evidence. This is not conclusive evidence, but it's certainly enough for me. Ultimately, it's a matter of faith.
