I am a member of the Cancer Buddies Network and it's a great network that's free to join. If you or if you know of anyone whose been touched by cancer, I invite you to go to the site and take a peek. It's interactive and you can even search for a buddy who is dealing with the same type of cancer. The site's owner is very active on the site, so when you introduce yourself, expect a hearty welcome from Janie. The website is www.cancerbuddiesnetwork.org
Please take a moment to visit the site.
Thanks
Jerryn

I have also visited the site and found very good:
I am a healer and hope that I can atleast help cancer people regarding reduce their pain the it would be atleast good for them, because I have found after treating few cases of cancer that Reiki Healing Energy really reduce the pain 80 to 90 percent. This is told by the patients.
I hope to look forward there!

This is really cool as cancer is a scary disease and we all need to stick together on this. I have lost many loved ones to cancer. It is a disease that can get anyone at any time. I wish they would find a cure for it soon.

Thank's for sharing this site, I checked it out sound's like a very good site to be on. not just for the people who have cancer or have had cancer or even their relative's and friend's to go on and have a buddy to talk to. My older sister was diagnosed with lung cancer last year in February and went through treatment's and was on all kind's of medication, with every thing combined she was sick the better part of the year. she was in and out of the hospital every month, she is doing much better now.
She is able to walk through the store's and shop with out riding on there cart's. she can also clean her house, which she could not do. I helped her out alot and so did her husband who learned how to do laundry and do some cleaning around the house. Now the doctor's tell her that she has some fluid in one of her lung's, so she has to go tomorrow on 3/25/07 to get the fluid removed. the doctor's are going to test it to see if it is cancerous or just plain fluid. I am praying it is just fluid and nothing else.
If it is cancerous she will have to go through chemotherapy again, which she don't want to. but she will go through with it, if she has to get it. maybe this time she won't get so sick because she won't be on all that medication she was on last year and she kept getting infection's also because her immune system was down from all the radiation and chemotherapy she was getting. I know that God answer's prayer's because my sister is still here, I admire her courage and strength she has that got her through last year. She also had all her family and friend's praying for her every day and her faith in God.

I'm so pleased to hear your sister has her faith in God because He will bring her through the storms. I pray the fluid in her lung isn't cancerous. Thanks for checking out the cancer buddies network, I hope it will become a good source of support for you and your family.

Thank you for sharing this information. About a year ago I was diagnosed with having precancerous cells on my cervix. I had them removed and am now being watched every three months to see if they got them all. If I fail another pap I will have to have a hysterectomy. I have my next check up on friday and I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks for the link. I am actually a cancer survivor myself. I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma when I was 18 years old and I had just started college.
I had to have 6 months of chemotherapy and 10 weeks of radiation and I am not 7 years out and
considered cured. I have a new appreciation of life and everything and my heart goes to do those
who have suffered through cancer a lot more than before.

You're welcome. I am glad you're among the survivors. I have a new appreciation of life and I have a closer walk with God. I hope you visit the site as often as can, maybe you can be a ray of hope for someone who now suffers with this type of illness.
All my best,
Jerryn
