I read an article about a teenager with toxic shock and the monitors that kept her alive were all based on a mainframe computer. The physicians today believe it is a quick way to make quick decissions when it comes to monitoring a person in a grug induced coma. What would happen if the computer had a glich or if someone keyed in the wrong information to quickly?
Accidents can happen in a blink of an eye and people can die very easily this way. What do you think is the better alternative? How safe is safe enough?

Oh dear this device does not seem very good does it, as we know that anything could happened with it plugged into a computer, and you are right what if someone fed the wrong information in the computer. Oh surely they have better ways of doing this without using a computer.

Can you look at some of the other discussions and let me know how you feel about these issues also? I'm not sure if I tagged them right when I first started this site. You've been very helpful in other discussions I've posted and that you were able to answer so pertantly.
