I wanted to install the lastes version of windows media player 11, but during installation it shows that the OS is not geniune.
Can anybody tell how to make Windows xp a geninue one without buying a original one.
or
How can i install Windows Media player 11 in my Windows xp.

If your copy of windows is not genuine, there is nothing you can do to change it. You will not be able to install any Microsoft product unless you purchase a windows key from Microsoft. If your copy is a pirated copy, you are screwed. If it is just not yet registered, all you have to do is register yourself and your computer on the Microsoft site. Your only other recourse is to purchase a genuine copy.

It is not a genuine one thatis why i want to make it. DO u know how to.
