Irony is that girls like what they don't like

Here in India, girls usually don't like guys who see multiple girls, who would sleep with a new girl every few days, who smoke and drink. But the other conditions that girls put - like the guys should be self made, smart, bold, dashing blah blah all put together rules out the shy, sensitive kind of guys out of contention and hence ultimately girls end up liking the kind of guys they said they don't like. Isn't this a big irony?

I met my guy 49 years ago , he was 19 and I was 16 we got engaged when I was 18 , we decided to get married 6 months later , we were both virgins are are still proud of the fact that we have only ever been with each other. we have 3 sons and 4 grandchildren , we have not been married almost 46 years and I still get butterflies when he looks at me , and that will never change xx

not been married for 49 years? But earlier you said that you got married when you were 18?

I guess Weemam meant "we have been married for 46 years" but the word NOT managed to get itself in the sentence.
Anyway, there is an essence of painful truth in what you say. Although not all women. There are a few who know exactly what they want and they have a firm principle that they hold on to.
Sometimes we women use our heart over our head and that's where most of us fail. But I had made one mistake and I hope not to make the same one again.

Yes, exactly, I would also think so. But then, there is no point in repenting later, girls should understand that.
