According to mylot standards, is it okay to post the same discussion under different interests? Some of the discussions that I post and go under different interests. For example some things that could be posted under "parenting" could also be posted under "homemaker" and "children". Would that be okay or would that somewhow be considered cheating?
Thanks in advance for your answers.

when you create several threads, or discussions, of the same topic, regardless of the category, it is called "flooding", which is, in all forums and community sites, a violation of basic rules.
a thread getting lost in another category is another story. for example, you started a thread about cats, and you misplaced it and put it under food, thats ok. honest mistake, and thats acceptable. c",)

I just got hypnotised by your penguin. I was staring at him without blinking for about three minutes before I realised.

Yep like the other posters said, I believe that to be cheating and against the rules. I wouldn't do it. Hope this helps. I just pick a category I feel is best and stick with it.

I have seen very rarely here but I do have seen the same thing. I don't think that one should go for that sort of activity. It will be deleted by the admin as it is not allowed at all. But sometimes, if you feel that some sort of wrong done, go for some proper tagging instead. It will definitely put your discussion to most of people.

Yeah I think it's kind of cheating. It's not fair to those who do abide by the rules and only post it once under one thing. It's not fair if everyone's just trying to post the same thing if it falls under twenty different interests, just so they can get more money.
