Nearly drank a live spider!

I use to have a habit of leaving a glass of water on the bedside table. One night, I sleepily reached for it, started drinking and felt something tickle my upper lip. I quickly turned on the bedside lamp to find a huntsman spider, floating on the water. I now have a water bottle by my bed! Anyone else had a close encounter with creepy crawlies?

Those damn spiders are always popping out and terrorising me. I'm sure they can sense my fear. Thank god I haven't had an experience like you just described, that would leave me with post traumatic stress disorder. Haha

lol that really sucks. i dont usually keep a glass of water next to me, and when i do its a bottle.
dont worry too much about drinking a spider. The average human eats 8spiders in their lifetime at night. thats a lot of spiders. must be tasty ;-) just a trivial fact

i haven't got any experience with them. but i have a phobia with spiders. they give me the creep. I don;t wanna experience that. may be ill het hospitalized if that happens. The only spider i like is spider man, but not the insects. hahaha! Goodluck!
