Friday the thirteenth

Nothing bad happened yesterday. Thursday was a doozy, though! My little guy fell down the stairs Thursday night right before bed. He's 14 months old and has been going up and down the stairs since he was about 10 months. I was sitting on the stairs right beside him while he was going down, but he leaned over to pick up a car and just tumbled. I grabbed him and almost got him stopped, but unfortunately, I only succeeded in pulling his diaper open. He rolled down the last 5 stairs. He went to the doctor yesterday, though, and everything is fine. He got a new set of Legos out of the deal, so I'm sure in his mind, all is right with the world. My husband said he even wanted to go back down the stairs on his own today. He's a tough little guy!

Nothing.. In the contrary.. I had a good day yesterday.. My school had no lesson, because we became a choir in the church.. And my friends said that we sang very good.. ^-^

Nothing out of the ordinary happened to me, it was a day like any other. I don't believe in that superstition anyway.

Nothing bad happened to me on my Friday the thirteenth. Some very interesting things happened though. My husband and I are trying to pay our car off. I have called the bank and requested the payoff on it about three weeks ago. the lady said she couldn't tell me what the amount is that is still owed on it. She said she could only tell my husband since he is the only name that is on the loan now. I said okay. she said she would put me through the automated system though and I could request it to be mailed. I did that and we still don't have the payoffamount yet. My husband called them on Friday the thirteenth and he told them he is the owner of the car and he is on the loan. He asked for the payoff again and they still said they couldn't tell him over the phone. they said they do not do business that way and that they would mail it to us. I just have a feeling we still won't get it. He is going to call them Monday and see if we can't set up an account online to be able to see the balance owed and make the payoff online. I think they are just playing around with us. We want to pay it off and there is no penalty for it. I just don't see why they cannot tell us the exact amount owed. I think I already knwo what it is, but I want to make sure and be done with it.
