are you suppose to stretch before, or after workout?

Both, but it's better not to overdo it before, while your muscles are still cold. I often don't worry much about stretching before, but think its quite important after. Maybe have a little warm up and stretch before you really start exercising.

Well when I use to workout I had a personal trainer and he would make me stretch before we began my workout to loosen up my muscle. I found that I hurt less if I stretched first. Afterwards a hot shower and I felt great.

I always thought you were supposed to stretch both before AND after a workout. More so after the workout though and more of a warm up with some stretching before. If that makes sense... I think before, it's more of a warm up with some stretching and afterwards, you have a cool down with more stretching. Hope that makes sense.

i think its better u stretch before u start ur work..
coz itll make ur body and mind calm which will make ur work much easier..
also it will help u keepin in good mood for a long time.
but its also good to stretch in da intervals for da same reasons above..
