hi welcome to mylot. i am above 500 posts and i welcome all newbies that join mylot. just make sure to create discussions that are at one line long and i will be very happy for that. if you want more money, post longer responses rather than posting many times. good luck to you on your mylot journey

I have been active for about 6 months now, and I have a rating of just a little over 1600. (Which is actually a lot lower than most of my peers who have been on here for the same amount of time.) I do not discriminate against new users! We all have to start somewhere! I have not heard of anyone who only picks higher rated members to respond to. Bottom line, if you post threads that interest them, they respond no matter what. Do not be discouraged if you are slow to start or get responses. It has happened to all of us when we were new! My best advice is begin adding friends who you respond to, and then you will have a more likely chance to have your discussions responded to as well. Good luck!

Here in this community we have all types of members fronm young, amateurs to aged seasoned, experiened professionals who are not only intelligent and intellectuals but they are very caring too! Please don't have any pre conceived ideas and try to judge people before trying your hand on this site! I have this site almost when it has started and my experience has been an excellent one! The members are very kind hearted , co operative, friedly and affectinate! Members of the community are interested in the quality postings, thats what the Mylot people also expect from their members! Be active participate with genune interest and zeal, I am sure your ideas will be changed within no time! I am member who is participating almost regularly but not making too many postings on this site to make money! I am a professional and I am making handsome money from my profession and I have jpoined this forum just to pass time in a quality way! I get myself relaxed and feel good having participated in few discussions per day! I personally encourage the new members and the discussions which don't hve any response to inititae the discussion so that the member's morales are boosted up and he may feel good about it! You can just check my profile and see how many discusssions I have answered to the new members! I always see to it that I can welcome a new member to this community and guide him if needed! So my dear friend, Please remove your doubts about the members who have scored more than 500, they are really good people and ofcourse you can see their popularity rating by palcing the cursor on their star! The popularity rating is given by the Community members! If the members are behaving in the way as your friend has quoted then they never would have got such a nice star rating, which you an see! Thus I hope I have made you clear that my lot members are not like that you were thinking and the very fact that I have answered you in detail should satisfy you! Hi Augustta. I have found that on mylot the way to get people to respond to your discussions is for you to answer some of their discussions first, Please do not expect them to see your name and think oh a new person I will answer them, I am fairly new here myself and have several discussions out there, and i still only get few responses so far but i have some wonderful friends that do respond when I write a post, You get known for how you respond and how much interest you show toward them rather than you being the new kid on the block and standing alone in the middle of the play ground so to speak. If you go through the discussions and see some thing interesting post a response and please make it a contributing one, one liners and two sentences will not help you or your cause, And finally if you see some one that has a lot of interests that you have request being their friend you do this by going on their profile page and under their picture there is a request friend box check that box. I don't believe that users hitting the high 500 in their posts will not tend to answer newbies discussions. We all started as a newbie and so we therefore help the newbies. As you can see, your discussion created a mass appeal to the users of myLot. is it now clear to you that the mylot community is a one big helping family? Don't just create a judgment based on other people's opinion for that will make no good to the both parties! Welcome and enjoy! Happy posting!

Welcome to Mylot. Well, I think your friend is wrong. The ones that hit the 500 mark didn't start out at 500, so they should understand. Just log in, respond to discussions that you enjoy, like or relate to. Most of all have fun and before you know it, you will have 10 bucks in your account. Again welcome to Mylot, and don't forget to have fun.

Don't let anyone scare you. This is a great place to be. After I go through my friends posts, I go to the new discussions. I try to help out wherever there are no responses or are little. Answer as many discussions as you can. It is easy to reach payout every month if you stick to a system. I try to respond to at least 30 discussions a day. I usually take the weekends off but I sneak in sometimes. We're a friendly bunch here once youget to know us. Welcome aboard.

You can earn from mylot by posting, or repsonsing to posts. It depend on which way you like. I like to make reponses to posts because it is fast... I really don't notice that starting discussions can increse my earnings..so please repsonse as many as you can, you can earn some money from here.

Hi new users! I usually don't even notice if someone is a new user or not. I respond to discussions based on if I find the subject of the post to be of interest to me. At times in the new user discussion group, I'll notice that some are silly one liner questions and I won't respond to those, but I do go through and look for good stuff. Everyone here was a new user at one point.

I think your friend is wrong. i answer posts that i enjoy. I don't care whether they are new or older mylotters.Anyone who starts a good discussion will get an answer from me. If I can find it. There are so many discussions its hard to keep up. Welcome to Mylot and please keep posting. I will look forward to yours.
