I used to get very annoyed and pissy with all the tagging I had to do on Mylot but I soon combated that problem when i DECIDED TO BECOME VERY NAUGHTY AND FRISKY AND SO WENT ON MY TAGGING RAMPAGE LOL. i REMEMBER A LITTLE WHILE BACK MY FRIEND TRANSDISC MADE UP A DISCUSSION ABOUT MEN PUTTING THEIR HANDS ON THEIR TROUSERS AND i JUST COULDN'T RESIST FINDING A TAG AS GOOD AS A PRANK LOL. Do you want to know what tag I put on that one?
here it is.........
Men and their dangly bits. I remember another one. I think it was my other friend Mystymornster going on one of her speciality vents which I love her so much for. I love MYSTY'S VENTS, THEY ARE SPECIAL, ALONG WITH DIANEL'S LOL. On her discussion I think I put pissy mode!!
I am terrible, but I just can't resist it. At least when people read the tags, they can have a bit of a laugh. So we can always find a way to spice something that looks quite tedious and boring can't we not?

Tagging on myLot makes it easier to mark things and it makes it easier for other people to find your topic and post their replies. Sometimes however, I find it unnecessary to post tag on discussion that are already popular or have a lot of respond to them. When I tag my message, I use up all 10 spaces that we are allowed for our tags

Hi Sis! How are you? Happy to hear you are so vibrant. Well for me, I just tag the discussions with one or two words, sometimes with a sentence or two. Boring ha!? I'm not that creative when it comes to tagging. It is as if I'm just happy my response was submitted. And to reconfirm and be sure, finished by tagging. And when it is over I'm happy. (^^,LOL) I can still not copy and paste so as long as it goes tru especially after tagging. Pheewww! Safe! Have a nice day! Stay happy! (^^,)

I constantly forget to tag discussions & responses. I try to remember though. I even have a friend who tags discussions with her name, probably so she can find it when she searches for her name - I'm not sure about that. I do try to remember though.

The reason we have tags is so people who want to search for a discussion will be shown yours, as well as the extra discussions at the bottom of the pages. If you put crazy stuff that doesn't apply to anything, you won't get the traffic to your discussion that you could otherwise. Everytime I answer a discussion, I see what others are offered in that category listed at the bottom. I find more discussions I woudn't have found, plus I find more people that I can make friends with. So they may be boring, but they serve a good purpose.

man its not so funny as you might wanna be. still ok as if you can amke any ne laugh to live. But be carefull as some time angry member might give you negative eresponce or rating. But some time i like to be in such a way to get all the boringness. As a humans we need some humours in our lives otherwise we are living in no fun life.ok keep it up and be positive in your approach.

I guess I am not the only one who hates tags but they docome in handy if you are looking for you discussions. but you can always go and see them again in my replies or my posts section.
I get annoyed if my browser gets stuck while postuing tags and ends up blank though recently its doing that less and less.
You know what I had started soing , I was putting the name of my friends in tags so that I could organise their discussions, LIke if I type Yanji all discussions I answered from you would get displayed but then thought of real purpose of tagging and limited that to my PM's . I still do that for messages soemtimes.

It IS useful when you need an easier way for other users to search and read your topic. Mainly useful in AFTER starting discussions, but not so useful when posting a reply.

I think it is great that you can come up with these great tags, just be sure they are related to the topic or resposnes! I like to see creative tags, and try to add very good tags as much as possible.

LOL, I tried to put in two or three words. I usually include my name, bunny, since most of the users called me by that name. You can notice that most of the threads I posted lately are mostly on the lighter side of topic. That way, I can tag words that are humorous. :)

This tagging is really a pain in the neck for most of the users. Me, I just do it mechanically and put the words that stand out from the discussion. I have come across one discussion that talks about love and I was so amused with her/his tag---l, o, v, e. Another talks about myLot and s/he tagged it something like L, O, T, M, Y. What naughty and funny things people come up to when they're bored! (Laughs!)

Lol, I used to hate tagging, then someone told me that by tagging you earn more.
I started tagging, although they were just boring words. I heard people complain about vulgar tags and stuff so I always made sure it wasn't me that did it lol.
I think now though I will let my imagination run riot a little bit. Like you say, there's nothing wrong with being creative and giving someone a good giggle now and again lol.

I agree with you that this tag business really hurts. I hate whenever the tag screen comes after submitting the response or discussion. At my place the speed of broadband is not good. Many atimes system habgs just because of pictures and data the web page has. I want to see the page going off as soon as I finish my response or discussion. I add many tags just to let my discussion pop up if ever somebody search anything of the same topic.
