Hi All! There are some street- cats in my neighborhood. I always love them and took care of them by letting them food, a cover from rain etc... Yester day, on of the cats kittened four adorable little kittens in my garden. Now the cat is seeting in a basket with her 4 cute babies! They are really charming but I don't know what should I do right now. I don't think I could keep them all at home because 5 cats are too much for me. What do you think should I do? I'll be happy for good advices! Thanks ver much.

If you have a shelter or rescue group in your area, this would be a good time to turn the cats over to them. Kittens need to be handled when they are young so that they are not afraid of people, plus more people want to adopt kittens. If you wait until the cats are older, they will have a harder time finding homes for them. A rescue group would give them all their shots and make the people adopting them get them neutered. The mom cat would hopefully find a home as well. Good Luck.

Thank you. Actually, I don't want to separate them. The mom cat grew on the streen since she was very very little.. But maybe she would find home as well.

They would keep the kittens all with mom until they were weaned and then put them up for adoption. Remember, if they are left as strays, they would all split up when they were older anyway.

maybe you can keep them for a while until they can eat solid foods and then if you cannot really keep them. bring them to a shelter for animals who took care of animals. so that those charming kitties wont just be left out to the streets
