I have discovered throughout my life that almost all of us have that one thing that is our complete hot button topic. That one thing that we come across that affects us more intimately, for whatever reason, than anything else; to the point that when we hear something about the subject our ears perk and our mind is at immediate attention, ready to either have a positively joyous discussion or a hot debate.
My question presented is... what is your number one hot button topic?

Because I have a number of gay friends and family members, I most often post to discussions about homosexuality. I generally post to negative discussions in hopes of opening some eyes, but the positive ones are good as well. But yeah, I must say, that is the big one.

I often post to negative discussions about homosexuality. I do try to be respectful, but I state the facts as I see them. And I do believe that SSA is biological, gentic, and non fluid. Therefore I see it as something that is neither right nor wrong, just a state of being, in answer to the question that you mixed up. LOL

abortion..... I, on one hand, hate to debate this issue because I get so involved, but on the other hand, I love to debate it because I have opened alot of eyes because of my debates. Pro-Lifer all the way!

Part of the reason I am asking about individual hot button's is because I've been looking at myself a lot lately, figuring out the how's and why's of how I think, so I was wondering, is there a particular reason Abortion is a hot topic for you? What is it, you think, that brings this to the forefront of your personal issues?

It is a hot button so to speak for me because I am so passionate about it and unfortunatly I do not and can not tolerate pro-choice. I see it as murder and do not see it as a choice in any way. It may be a law that women can do it but that doesn't make it right and it honestly just breaks my heart to hear that about 4,000 babies get murdered each day.....That is why it is my hot button.

Oh yes, the never ending topic with my guy officemates that why is it okay for guys to sleep around but when girls do it, they are branded as sl*ts. I really hate it when things are one sided, mostly in favor of guys in relationships. I could go on and on about this topic for days.
