Well a few weeks ago i buy a brand new laptop. The price should be $1100, but i buy it less than $1000. It's a NEC Versa E6200. The design is good they have anti scratch cover. This is the specification:
Intel Centrino core 2 duo 1.66GHZ
RAM 512MB
VGA integrated up to 128 MB
HD 60GB
1.3 MP camera
DVD Super Multi
Bluetooth
remote control
No OS
I think this is a great price for this specification (well in my place). But the worst thing about this is that the manual isn't clear. So if you not a curious guy like me this will be bad thing to purchase. OH my .... it took me a week to figure how to operate the remote. The customer service doesn't want to give me the complete manual. they suggest me to find with google. owhh my ...

I am a Dell girl. We bought a laptop for my writer daughter and it was only 550 or so dollars. I upgraded my Dell desktop too. Anyway, it is lightweight and works nicely. We have not problems and it has loads of memory. Being a prolific writer we made sure it had a ton of memory. I have good experience with the customer service and do not have anything bad to say about them. Good luck deciding what laptop to buy. Best of luck with their operation.

I haven't laptop even if we have 12 PC none laptop.Don't worry I haven't all these at my home some are at our shops lol:My husband wanted buy a laptop for me but I didn't let him do it.I know my son will use it and laptop will not stay long time.....alive.He will take it from here to there.

I have a compaq Pressario M 2000 I got last August, and before that I had a Compaq Pressario 2195 I got in January of 2004. I love having a laptop. I love being able to travel with it, and not be tied to the house, all the time.

I dont have one at this time but I want one so bad and I am working on my kids for one I told them that they should all pitch in and get me one for Mothers Day maybe they will lets keeep our fingers crossed. LOL. I am glad that you got one so that you can keep up with your studies good luck my friend
