I'm probably one of the few people who owns an ipod. I wouldn't know what to do with it even if I had one as I have no clue how to download music. So I'm wondering how many of you actually own one. I'm thinking I'm not such an oddity, but I may be proven wrong.

Not yet, but some day when I have saved up enough money, I plan to buy one. I would love to have one to store a couple of thousand songs on, instead of having to change CDs all the time. My old CD player still works though, so I'm not too upset. An iPod would be nice to have, though.

Yep. I do own an iPod and I LOVE it! It goes everywhere with me. It's pretty handy when annoying people who can't chew with their mouth closed are sitting on the bus with you. Also handy for the annoying people who chew their gum like a cow.

I own one. It's a nano. My ipod is my "boredom" saver. And it's very convenient and practical for me since I'm really into music and all. I carry it with me all the time. Just in case I have to wait for someone in a cafe or in the mall, or when traveling and having long trips.

No I don't, but my kids all want one. Aren't they basically a small walkman? I can't see buying something so pricey when I can buy one of those much cheaper.

hey i also have an ipod. its not expensive but the basic 2gb edition that was gifted to me by a friend.....and i am absolutely addicted to it as i love all kinds of music.........
for downloading music onto an ipod u need to install itunes software from the itunes website, its absolutely free and then u have to sync the device with the cable provided... then just add songs to the playlist and refresh the list to the ipod...there is currently no other way to do it and hey dont just cut and paste the songs onto the ipod memory, it wont work...there is also an plugin available for winamp, but i do not know in detail about it, why use rest when u can use the best?,......plz comment if u need any more help on this..take care

I actually have two iPods and I love them. You don't know how to download music? That's hard to believe in this internet age, I download things all the time and I couldn't imagine not being able to download new music or tv shows.

I too own and ipod and I love it. My niece showed me how to put songs on to it off cds that I ow, and I have about 1000 songs. It's very nice because now I can listen to any CD whenever I want to. I used to have to bring one or two cds on a trip and listen to music only by that specific band. Now I can listen to any band on the ipod. It's great! Mine also holds photos and videos but I'm not sure yet how to put those on. So yes, I am one of the few that own an ipod, and I love it! I suggest that anyone who likes music and owns pretty many cd's, buy one now and put the cds on it.
