for some women her wedding dress is a holy gral and they keep it all their life, probably to see also their daughter in it, at least to have a memory of this unique day. for other women the wedding dress was just the dress they wear on the wedding, nothing more. they give it away after, sell it. what do you think?

iam an indian . my wedding dress is a yellow colour saree. i have no other opputunity to wear it, but still i keep it out of my sentiment. i feel very sentimental about that saree , so i never want to do away with it at any cost . well thats how i feeel . many other women too feel the same about it.

I sold mine after I got married . I paid 115 dollars for it and sold it for 100 dollars shortly afterwards .
I loved my dress but couldn't figure out what I would really do with it again as I was not planning on ever wearing it again . I know that some individuals keep their wedding dress for their children but felt that when my children got married , times will be different and they will want to choose their own style for them and this is part of the fun in getting married , being able to pick out your dream dress .
I had thought that if I didn't sell the dress that I could try to make curtains or something useful out of it . I hate hanging on to things that I know I will never use again and then they just sit somewhere taking up space that could be better off used for something else :)

I knwo alot of people that have sold theres. It does not do anything though. If you need the money then sell the dress. It does not mean that you dont care just that you dont want the dress lol.
