This is something that has always intrigued me. We normal people are so much interested in knowing all the Celebrities personal life matters or gossips going around... Has anyone done any research on this topic? I am sure there must be some student in big IVY league colleges doing some kind of research on humand mind to analyze why exactly people take so much interest in other people's life!!
Now this is NOT any country-specific MANIA!! People all around the Globe behave the same way (atleast the majority of them).. evening after I come from work..switch ON the TV and what do you get to see in the idiot box.. there u go... Insider, ET entertainement all these gossips with very less actual footage content. Most of the time they just keep showing Ad's on what's going to come NEXT on the show..and when it finally arrives.. BOOM...turnes out to be a no-news at all...
So I just want to ask everyone? Are we ourselves to blame that we encourage these TV channels, magazines to cross their line and intrude into celebrity privacy..? hoping to hear some good ideas on this...

Agree with u. Although i don't buy those gossips magazine anymore.. but i still visit site such as bastardly.com or TMZ.com...etc..etc...
I don't know why we loveeeeeeeeeee hear gossips. Not only limited to celebrity, we hear gossips of friends or neighbour or friend of a friend of a friend. Strange, huh? Even we don't even know them personally..
Curiosity? Entertainment? Dunno what we are looking for actually....
But i believe those big and giant magazine and TV company did some research about it..must fall somewhere under the sociology field. Sociology is the field where they learn about people's behaviour...
