Are you a morning person or a night person?

I am now and have always been a night person. When I was very little, my mother knew that I was a night person. I would stay awake all hours of the night no matter how much she threatened me. ha ha And yes, I just learned how to lay there quietly. Then my mother started working a late shift and would get home at 3 or 4 am. She would walk into my room to ask if I was still awake...and sure enough, most of the time I was and she and my father would take me with them to get something to eat. :) To this day, I am a night person. I try my best to get to bed at a more reasonable hour because I have to get up early with the kids...but if I do not stay up until at least midnight, I will lay awake and just stare into the dark.

I am definitely a night person! I love to go out at night though I'm not allowed. But during night time there is no heat!.. it's cold at night and I like that more. I sleep a lot in the day and sleep very late at night especially now that it's summer.. i don't have classes.

I'm so a night person. I'd so much rather be up until the wee hours of the morning instead of having to get up at that time. Sadly I can't be as much of a night person anymore and have to force my body to be at least somewhat of a morning person. I am getting better at having to get up early, but man I still HATE it lol

Oh my goodness...I think I found a real friend here...hehehe...I am most definitely a night owl...I'm just a tad better than I used to be..honestly I used to have REALLY bizarre hours...I do a lot of projects at night..just seemed more intuned to do them especially my creative work..it's quiet..don't have to worry about the phone ringing..ah, heaven...so I used to go to bed sometimes as late as 7 in the morning!! Get up around 4 or 4:30 in the afternoon...I'm a bit better now..usually in bed around 4 in the morning, up around earliest 10 but usually just a tad later....One thing I'm fed up with though...and do you find this...why are we made to feel guilty that we are night owls...I mean not everyone is cut out for the 9 to 5 world

im more on a night person.. but i usually wake up early coz i have class...

for nearly 20 years ive had a sleeping problem, im lucky to get sleep at night let alone during the day, its a nightmare, ive been to the hospital so many times complaing about this, and every time, they say "its not effecting ur day to day routine, so theres not much point on us giving u anything"!!!!! but if i had to choose, i had day light, its so annoying, everyone is out trying to do wot they gotta do, i like night time, everyone is in their house, and the streets are quiet, it allows me to go for a wander without the worry of bumpin into people and having to stop for a conversation! But now its all changed, i try to get as much sleep as possible when ever i can, as i have a 5 day old daughter that demands my attention all the time... although im still struggling to get 2 hrs a day

Wow, a lot of people started the same topic as this one... Since I found this first, I'll answer to this. I'm also a night person. Seems like a lot of people here in MyLot are night persons. I check my mail at night, answer as much questions as I can at Mylot, design themes, write at my blog, and do other things in the internet.... I stay up really late, thus, I wake up late. But when I really need to wake up early, I would. I'll just be sleepy the following day. :) Then when I get home, I'll get some sleep, then wake up after a few hours to do what I do at night again...

Oh geez thanks for the pressure of being rated.LOL Well I would have to say Im a morning person because after Im awake and have had my coffee I can start my day. I seem to have alot more energy in the day rather then nightime. And I love to watch the sun come up in the morning sometimes its a beautiful sight.

I'm a night person. I love to be awake at night, even if don't get out. I like to be home, doing my things. It at night that I'm more focus, that I can say that I am much more me. I like to go the net, to search or to read, to watch TV or to work. The morning is to sleep, as I use to say, eheh. I hate to work during the morning, and I'm a really zombie. I'm not here, eheh. At I only start to awake after 1 PM.

I am naturally a night person. I love to sleep all day and then work and play all night. However, since I had my son, that just hasn´t been possible! :) He would like to stay up all night and all day, but we have to maintain some kind of rythme to his days. :) Before, when I was single, I took on a lot of night jobs, pizza delivery and the like. Now that I work from home, I would easily be able to work at night, if it weren´t for my son. But I suppose getting up at 5 am is good for me, too! lol

I am a morning person, because I work in a cafe and whenever I am free, I do spend time with Mylot. We do close the cafe at night, therefore there is no anyway one can be at Mylot at night.

I am a night person, I feel energetic at night. I am wide awake and finish most of my tasks. Maybe the silence and peace that a night brings adds energy in my system.

I'm a night person all the way. I can't stand to wake up early in the morning, it just makes me grumpy and tired and I just can't think straight at all. During the night however, I feel much more awake and I feel more energized. I also feel that I can think clearly at night, that's why I do all my work during the night time instead. The only way that I can wake up early in the morning is if I have a good night sleep the day before.

I am absolutely a night person!I sleep at 1-2.pm in the evening.And mostly I would like to spend my time browsing the internet before I sleep.For weekdays at night,I watch the US and European stock market before I sleep.As I am living in Hong Kong.It's night time when Europe and US is at day time.I also like to post on browse mylot at night and I also like watching youtube before I sleep!So lots if thing to do at night time!There are so many things to explore!:) Cheers!

I am a grump in the morning not so bad if i am on my own! Night time is my time i feel alive and i don't want to sleep unfortunately hubbys a postman he gets up at 3am and wants early nights i often creap down and play on the puter whilst he's asleep!

It depends. Sometimes I really like the mornings and sometimes I really like the nights. But I think I prefer mornings. I love to wake up and see a beautiful day, sunlight etc... I also like going out on nights, but I prefer going out on mornings. I hate to slep all day long and wake up only at night because it makes me feel that I wate all the day and did nothing with my life. I rather sleep at nights and be awake at mornings. This is our nature I think...

i am a night person as well as morning person. if i can't get to sleep by 1 am, i'll become a night person and suddenly excited doing housework. but generally, i like being a morning person. i will get up as early as 6 am, did my prayer and start doing my work. (not housework). i'll get more ideas in the morning. it feels relax and calm in the morning. time flies very slow compared to if u r awake at night.

I love the mornings the most.My most beautiful mornings are the morningds in spring and summer times when i awake by the sound of the birds open my curtains and see a blue sky and the sun shining.I don't like the nights because it means a nice day has ended.When the morning starts like that i go outside for breakfast and a drink and enjoy the rest of the day.

i can tell that i am a night person.. i don't know but my friends tell me that i am already a vampire coz, i am usually awake at night and asleep during the day.. I can't wake up early in the morning because i stay up late at night.
