My vacation in America!

United States

My husband and I travel a lot. We have been all over the USA. Some of our most memorable vacations have been on the west coast. If you have never been to the west coast you are truly missing some beautiful places. To name a few, the Redwoods, Cascades, Rogue River area, the Grand Canyon, Kaibab National Park. Boy I could go on and on.We usually load up the trailer, motorcycles, animals and set off for a great time. We find that it takes very little to meet new friends and throw an imprompt to evening BBQ. We enjoy hearing of their travels and possibly new places to explore. I don't think I'll ever get tired of travel the highways of the United States of America. What a great wonder I have the oppertunity to live in. This summer we are making a slite detour to Georgia to visit my niece. And I'm so excited I want to leave now. But we're waiting for the weather to get a little better before we head out. I have never been to Georgia so this will be a new place to add to my travels. I ecspect to thoughly enjoy the trip. Are you doing any traveling this summer with the family, kids, whatever? Let me know where your going. Maybe I can make it my next trip.

I grew up in Torrance, California which is close to the beaches. I loved growing up there. My mom and dad live in the mountains since selling our childhood home when they retired. They live in Crestline which is by Big Bear. One of my brothers lives in Santa Anna and the other one lives in San Francisco. I really like San Diego too!

My husband and I looked into buying property in Oregon years ago before everybody else moved up there and made the prices sky rocket. We did and have regreted it to this day. It is a beautiful state. I've mostly seen the Rogue River area. I've pass through Portland on my way to Seattle. I have family that live in Portland now so I may make it that way soon. Thanks for sharing.. Tammy
