i have broke down and watched the new rocky movie-it was in my opinion "bad" i hated to see rocky as old and it kind of ruined previous rocky movies for me.i think sylvester stalone must need the money though.finally with this movie they have done rocky to death.whats next "demolition man 2 ??" did anyone out there like this new rocky movie??i havent heard much talk about it so i guess that probably answers my own question

I agree it was very sad. I watched it with my hubby and it was just heart breaking to think what had become of his life, and losing his wife. Not to mention the way his kid acted at first!

I completely agree. It was sad to watch that but I didn't like seeing it end like that.

I've been a fan of Rocky since the beginning, well, since I remember seeing the first one when I was a wee lass, that is. I really enjoyed this new installment as it brought everything back home and finished the character's story. Could the saga have done without it? Perhaps, but I don't think it did any harm.
As for what's next, Stallone is working on the fourth Rambo movie which will be called "John Rambo." You can read more about it here: http://imdb.com/title/tt0462499/

I think films like this are made purely for financial payoff and not for artistic merit, I'm a bit concerned also about a proposed new Indiana Jones film....give it up Hollywood people and think up some new ideas.

I loved rocky balboa. It was deffintley one of my favorite rocky movies deffintley had one of the better storylines. I am a big fan of the rocky movies infact im watching rocky 5 now since I wanted to watch all off the rocky movies and tomorow I will be watching rocky balboa. But I find it funny how a lot of people made fun of this movie before it came out now everyone loves it.

Thanks for sharing the review. I haven't seen the movie, but when I went to Blockbuster I could see it sitting on the shelf. It crossed my mind to rent it, but something told me not to. I'm glad I didn't waste my money. I prefer to watch the original one when it comes on television every now and then.
