I prefer myspace for visuals, I prefer facebook for efficiency, and xanga... well, they terminated me so obviously I have a negative bias. But all in all I have to say that facebook is what I stick to the most.

Xanga for me because I love writing (or blogging if peopple prefer that term). I can create my layouts and write a lot of things there. It was also the first website that I used for keeping a journal or anything like that also. Most of my friends already moved to Myspace or Facebook or both, but I'm still around on Xanga since I really like the menus, features, and other things about it. (Yes, I do have both Myspace and Facebook account but I only use them to keep in contact with most of my friends who are in different states or too far away to visit. But the majority of my time are spent on Xanga.)
I think that Myspace and Facebook are more about social networking or friends connection and Xanga leans towards blogging more (just like blogger or livejournal). Although MySpace does have its blogging feature but the focus is mostly about connections and simple interactions. (But that's just my obvservations from when I signed up and explored around there until now so I can't say for sure or want to come to conclusion of any sort yet. It just gives that impression more and more nowadays.)

I have a lot more fun on Facebook than I do on MySpace and I've never been on Xanga.
The majority of my MySpace messages tend to be forwards, and friend invites tend to be bands soliciting for listeners or guys looking for a one night stand.
I've reconnected with tons of old friends and acquaintances on Facebook, and I like that you have to list how they know you.
