I can totally understand why so many people are upset and that what he did was wrong but part of me wonders if this whole firing thing has gone too far. I know if the networks sponsoring companies want to pull the plug then obviously CBS and CSNBC have no choice but I think it's a bit hasty. It's not going to make those young girls feel better. I'm sure the apologies that were made last night far exceed what they'd ever feel with him losing his job. I don't know what do you guys think?

I haven't followed him throughout the years but my opinion is this.... IF you are a celebrity, talk show host, president or CEO of a company. Whatever your title is, you need to be really careful about what you say in the public eye. Most of the time , it will come back to bite you in the butt. I am not sure if "firing " was the right thing to do but I would have suspended him WITHOUT pay for a while. It may have been a wake up call to him. I heard that Howard Stern and him are going to partner up. Do you know anything about that??? Oh well, off my soap box. Have a great night.

You make some really good points. Maybe a suspension with no pay would have been effective. No I hadn't heard anything about Howard Stern. That will be interesting if that happens.

I don't think they should allow offensive shows on the air in the first place, what happened to common respect. Why are loud mouth crude and obnoxious people paid for being that way?

Ya know, I dont think we will ever know all the truth of that story. the media tends to make us believe whatever they want us to and I think they adjust the truth to meet their desires and what they want us to think.
