Drawing ANIME!!

Vincent Valentine - I used this pic for my final plate on a major subject- used the body for the pose and I used another pic (the CG type) for the face and hair. I drew this using pen and ink. It was hard though because I was awake the whole night. 24 hours of no sleep, and more than 10 hours of work!! Now that was tough.. I just wish I'd get a better grade.. I did not aim for a perfect score because there are flaws in my work that my prof would obviously see, but I wish I'd be no lower than 90. HOW I WISH...T-T

Do you draw anime? Which anime do you like to draw most of the time and how do you draw?^_^Ever since I was a little kid I draw lots of stuff and that includes anime. I'm an absolute anime lover. The first anime I've drawn was Sailor Moon!! Ahahaha!! I was able to enhance my skills since then. I don't usually draw using the skeleton method (where you draw circles, lines first). I usually use contour drawing... It's fun to draw anime. I even made my own characters!! haha!! Unfortunately I can't show them or post them on the net because I think I lost them..T-T There were a lot of 'em... Ahahaha.. Oh well..^_^ Right now I'm trying to draw based on CG characters!! Final Fantasy stuffs.. More realistic than anime.. Still Japanese, though.. Ahahaha...^_^

I too enjoy drawing anime characters,and my very own characters,too.When I draw,I can't use shapes or skeletons to help,I have to draw from the head and then do it like that. I enjoy this hobby sooo much! I can't draw realistic faces or anything like that...I hope to become an animater,and thanks to m discovering that i have a talent,i may be able to realise this dream of mine.

That's cool... i dont use the skeleton method myself and when i do the characters dont look right to me. ever sence i was about 11 when i first seen the street figher animated movie i was hooked on anime and manga..I'm a pretty good artist too. if you want to see some i'll e-mail you a few.

I also draw anime. And I go straight ahead in drawing the character I like. But for me to draw, I first have to know what is the description of that character and from that, I can easily picture it out in drawing.
