i think that the book angels and demons is better written than the da vinci code, and more or less, the situation in that book has much more destructive implications than the da vinci code.. well, its just my own opinion, others may think differently. to each his own though...

You can't say that one book is better than the other if you've never HEARD of the other book. Just because Da Vinci Code got a lot more publicity because of it's controversy doesn't make it a better book than a lot of the books that you've never heard of.

angels and demons is far better for me! it made my heart pound so much! its story is much realistic and it fuses history, geography, science, and religion seamlessly. i think Dan brown is a genius for writing such a great story like this. One thing that I dont like about the da Vinci Code is that it somehow defames God

i think angels and demons was dan brown's attempt to please christians by not defaming our religion, yet provide a great read about christianity, its artifacts, etc.

actually no.. it somehow tells us that the Vatican is not perfect. that even if they proclaim that they are the people's way to God, they will always be accountable for all the mistakes they committed before. It somehow opened my eyes that corruption is real in Vatican

i found da vinci code more interesting and catchy than angels and daemons....no doubt both books are among the great works..

on a side note, i think that the movie tied up the stories' loose ends better than the book.

I totally love Angels and Demons better. I think part of that is that there is not a movie to see first and ruin it. I think that Da Vinci Code is good, but I saw the movie first and I think the movie was disappointing. I do however wish that they would make an Angel and Demons movie now that I have read it.

i don't think the vatican would allow filming of a movie on their holy grounds... i thought of that before, but the logistics of pulling that off are tremendous... too difficult in my opinion, though it would make for a better movie.

Well i like both especially Da vinci code which is full of fictions and suspense that makes it more interesting to read though the facts are not acceptable.

I liked the Da Vinci Code...but I also liked angels and demons....both books where great...plus the movie the da vinci code has been playing on cable for the last 2 months and love watching how Ron Howard brought the book to life. I hope he does the same with angels and demons.

after reading both of them i can say Angels&demons and Davinci are kinda on the same track ... angels & demons was a notch better than davinci

I liked both of them a lot but I think Da Vinci Code was a hair better but not by much. It just seemed to have a lot more thought and intrigue to it. Angels & Demons was good but it just seemed to be missing something. Not sure what but something.

I haven't finished reading Da Vinci code yet but I already watched the Movie. For me Angels and Demon has more adventure for,the story is very twisted, you cannot conclude even if your almost at the end part of the book. It is really a great adventure while reading it.
