how do you deal with your stress?

me, i deal with it through sleeping for a long long time. when i wake up i feel rejuvenated and ready to take on new challenges.

For evereyday stress, I enjoy a nice run... I plug myself into my iPod and go for a nice little run through the neighborhood. I can usually get lost in the music and forget about a lot of the things that have been bothering me. For bigger problems, I used to drive out to the coast (abuot half an hour away) a head to this little secluded beach and just get lost out there in my thoughts. The sounds of the water crashing on the waves and being out there on my own was so relaxing... there was nothing that could follow me out there.

My ways to reduce my stress level are as follows (not necessary in the order listed): Dancing, listening to music, hiking, skiing, skating, walking, eating (in moderation), drinking (in moderation), playing tennis, doing taiji on a regular basis, making love on a regular basis, gardening, socializing with friends, watching movies, having vacation on a regular basis, go to retreat once in a while, withdraw from people once in a while, taking a nap from time to time, sleeping (in moderation), PC gaming, reading books and articles, attending workshops and conferences, getting away from work site once in a while, taking long lunch hour break, having control over your own work schedule, talking in CD forum, taking pictures, swimimg, singing, shooting, writing etc...Gosh, I do wish I have enough time to do things to relax myself. I am getting so tense just to think what I do to reduce my stress level (just kidding).

I sit back and listen to my soft music in my recliner. I put my headphones on and turn the telephone off and just go into another world. Music always fills my soul with relaxation as well as happiness. It is a good way for me to rid myself of stress.

hi there! ;0 music is also one of my de-stressors. :) i dont like putting headphones on thoug, i prefer to have music blaring from the radio. lolz. like you, music also fills my soul with relaxation and other soothing feelings. :) thank you and good day! :)

i deal with it through taking a long walk early in the morning.walking helps me to reduce tension and increase my health.

Hehe, I deal with stress through shopping and eating. When I have good time for shopping and eating, I feel happy. But I spend much money on that, hehe. Next day I must work hard.

how do i handle stress? hmm.. everytime i'm stressed out, i would just walk and walk. it helps me find answers and keep me on the right perspective. sleeping helps too but it doesn't help me think about what stressed me out. eating is the worst thing i do when i'm stressed. i usually gain a few pounds afterwards.
