How many hours do you spend in watching anime series or anime movies?

Last 2004 or 2005 (I cant remember it well, if anyone joined this competition, could you please give the exact date if you know it, Thanks!), Animax held a competition for this. Watching anime 24 hours straight! I joined that competition but I failed I was out on 20th hour, the person who caught me was not fair. The guy suc_! By the way, they say that its not good to be awake 24 hours because some of you organs will be affected or hurted. I just learned this from a friend and a discussion here in myLot was also posted about this. You might want to look for it.

Oh I'm aware it's not good for me and I've never actually done it. I was just saying I *could* if I felt like it. ;) Haven't heard about organ damage but I recall it causes stress which releases something in the body that is somehow or other connected to weight gain.

Thats a decent hours to watch anime, like the other guy who responded to this discussion. It would definitely take you longer hours watching anime especially when the episodes are thrilling and very appealling to watch. You might find yourself being stuck in front of the TV and not realizing that 6 hours had already passed! Like episodes in Naruto, when Kakashi was fighting with the fish like villain who was with a kid who has a good bloodlimit. It happened on Mist Village.

Thats really something! 15 hours watching anime! Awesome stamina. Its hard to watch that long hours, you will definitely have tired eyes or you might even fall asleep while watching. I can do that as well but Im really having a hard time though, my work schedule is not normal. Unlike other companies whose working from 8am - 5pm or 9am - 6pm, I have a shifting schedule.

Hmmm.... You didnt tell us how many hours you spend watching but I think its quite long because as you have said you would finish a dvd. Anime on dvds are really long, unlike vcd which could only contain three to four episodes. Dvds can store up to 80 episodes of anime! Isnt that cool?! I really like dvd because of its storage capacity, its really convenient and cheap considering its capability and use. It would actually take you days or even weeks to finish the anime series Naruto, if you would try to finish it continuously.

Thats right, it would definitely take you a lot of time to finish watching Dragon Ball Z series. The fight scenes are really long and spend lots of talking, flashbacks (old memories) and then return to hitting each other. Thats a nice number, three hours a day watching anime to finish an anime series. As of now I been only able to watch anime on animax because I dont have enough time to watch dvd copies. Last month I was spending 4-5 hours watching The Prince of Tennis but I didnt managed to continue it though.
