look , i want to know which are the most famous songs of america.it could be love songs,any band or country songs.i want to have an archive where from i can know about the all time hits of america.after i know them i can buy them or record them .please help me with this.

You may want to check out the Billboard website. Billboard keep strack of the number on hits and I would imagine they have compilled a list of the all time favorites. Also, VH1 runs specials about the top hits in certian era's or of all time they may have a list on their site as well.
