What do u think is the importance of AVATAR in MyLot?

The AVATAR in MyLot is an Image & it is also accompanied with the Slogan.
To me the AVATAR with the Slogan is a pictorial representation of our attitude.
I have seen variety of Avatar pictures here & the ones that have some link to attitude did appeal to me.
I fail to understand why there are so many MyLoters who have not selected any picture for their Avatar?
If they are not aware they can just go to the Profile selection & attach an image they like.
Please reply your views on AVATAR.

An avatar does tend to brighten up the page, rather than have a basic notice board with no graphics at all. I also find some of the slogans used on Mylot to be very entertaining.
I can accept that many new members do not bother with such things for a while, but it does surprise me that many do not bother after becoming established at Mylot. I have used several avatars and have a slogan on my profile page, and I would not consider being without either. They are part of the fun of Mylot.

Personally I'm attracted from beautiful avatar and from nickname because it's the first thing I see before the discussions. My avatar is my face and generally I like who has the face for avatar, but there is who doesn't like it and they can give another picture.
Like you say, avatar is a slogan, too. It's an image that shows ourself.

with nicknames it is very difficult to address the person while writing to him.
When u have your face as your avatar you should also have your original name associated with it.
Addressing you as STEERFORTH would sound very odd, i feel.

You are right! The AVATAR with the slogan is a pictorial representation of our attitude or just a way to express our individuality. I haven't selected a picture for my Avatar and that's because I don't really care for it that much. Perhaps I should! There are some MyLoters who are unaware that you can go to the Profile selection and attach an image they like. It's because they are either new or they don't visit Mylot too often.

Human have an eye which helps to regain the memory with the help of eyes too.
The viedo along with some audio and some symbols recalls the memory faster hence the avatar too helps you to remember few of the user with an immediate look I think so mylot has provided this avatar facility I think.

Some of them maybe not aware of it. I don't recognize how to make an avatar after i reach about 100 posts. First, I thought you need to be in 100 posts to able make an avatar. But then i realize it's on edit preferences. Some people might not aware of that, or maybe they did not have a picture to post with.
