I think people who qualified to payout had already got the payout and those who are yet to payout are working hard. I had heard some of the complains by some new members again today about the earnings and I was told the newbies are neglected by the old members as he was rejected few times in requesting for friends approval, also the earnings have been low and they ask me when they can get payout..
Honestly, I got my payment, but at the same time, I had post a discussion before telling people I had joined another forum as well, and this site have been closed recently, that mean my money would be gone there, I think that forum will reopen when I forget it , and they will also forget our payment.
I am still happy even I was scammed as mylot still pay me, I am sure it is still the best.
By the way, my brother has also joined a website which seems to pay members well, but at the same time, that website claims to have a goal of reaching 1 million members this year, you can think in two ways, either it is a very good site or it is a scam. But it seems that the sites which guarantee payment are always low profile and low pay like mylot, the server in mylot is also very stable, that is something i really appreciate.
Have you guys being 'scammed' before, how to tell it is a scam?? Are there any early signs to tell one is scam or not?? I would also hear about the ideas from the new members about mylot.
What are you guys thinking?? (please do not post the link here, thank you)

being a member for 8 months now, i say, i never complained about myLot. the time i signed up for myLot, i felt really at home already eventhough we weren't that great in number yet... like almost 10thousand i guess or less. but we did lots of fun. members that time weren't much into complaining. most of my batchmates are gone now and some are still here.
people do come and go. we try other sites and most of the time, we get scammed. maybe it's part of the learning process... to stick to what you know really pays even if it's not that easy to earn money from.
it's not easy money here in myLot. you have to work hard to get each cent.
trick is, don't think much on how much you'll earn. but enjoy every discussion moment you have here... respond... discuss... interact... make friends... and you'll never know how great your money turned into after sometime. ofcourse, myLot will not make you rich... but earning money online while enjoying your stay here is worth your while.
i also been to three forums. spent a day in each one. and i really get to reach the minimum payout per day. and guess what... i never got paid. but the moderators always promise to pay me... until i got tired of emailing them. gosh. i still will stick to myLot! i everything about myLot! nothing can be compared.

I actually came to Mylot from a non-paying question/answer board. I like the format here and most everyone is very friendly. i have seen people complaining about the pay, but I can say that Mylot does payout as I have received a payment from them. It may not be enough money to make a "living" on, but for extra cash, it's not bad. I made pretty decent money here for the effort I put forth. The people complaining, I have checked sometimes and they post one line answers, etc. Mylot pays for quality, not quantity only. Also I know I have denied people's friend requests if I look at their profile and they do not seem to contribute much to Mylot or are spammers. I don't think they have to be here a long time to show that they contribute. I know there are a lot of scam sites out there, but as long as you don't have to pay anyboday anything, what's the difference? You try a site for free, don't get paid, oh well, move on. My problem would be if you had to invest money into the site & then didn't get paid. I mean really, I like Mylot & all, but I certainly don't consider asking questions and responding to discussions "work" so if I get paid for something like this, it's an extra little "perk"

You are right, misheleen, most of the people in mylot are so nice just like you, the problem is there are still some spammers exist which they are not into real discussions, if u notice that they are not interested in discussions.there is no point to add them if you do not need any websites from them.
True, if I do not need to pay, what I will ose is time at most and nothing else.

I think people leave My Lot sometimes because it is low pay for a lot of work. You would have to enjoy communicating with people to want to stay on My lOt..
Scams! It is not always easy to tell. But there are some signs to be wary of. If the site does not contain a lot of detail, does not have a way to contact the admin, or the admin does not respond, these ae all signs to take norte of.If the site makes claims for earnings that do not seem reasonable, based on thge income the site would receiving this is also a sign to be wary.
I'm afriad that there is no guarantee way to sort out the genuine from the scam sites.

I sometimes fed up of the system of rating done by all the users. I have seen many people here who are just asking about qaulity discussions. Even those people who termed their own postings as low standard... having good responses and they feel stunning with their ranking too. If people here don't know what is the quality then how they can determine the fate of others?? I am really surprised and I wish to raise the issue with admin that if they appoint some senior members of mylot with some authority to judge overall discussions and then award the rating! I would like to add that I will not leave mylot for the sake of money rather I would like to leave it due to rating system. I also assure that I will never join forum like that, again. I am good here and if not not good then I can never be good at somewhere. Thanks for your posting too. Sorry if you feel something irrelevant.

Well, I guess I knew the site you are referring to. I was also a member there and got shock when they temporary closed for some reasons mentioned. Until now, I still don't know if they are scam. I am happy that I have made a right decision, to stay with MyLot. I never plan to leave this site. This is where I find my new home and where my friends are.

I used to be very active here on myLot for several months, but then I had a few other things to do, so reduced the amount of time here. Then I found another site which is also a forum but so much different to myLot. I do prefer the other site over myLot, but still come here from time to time because I did refer some people here. Those referrals are active plus there are some friends that I made here on myLot. I like to support all of them, and although not as much as before, I think they appreciate the contributions I can make to their discussions.
But the other site is the one I prefer. The reasons are because I personally find it more interesting, in that it has a wide variety of topics and discussions going on. Also there are separate areas for recipes, home hints, gardening, jokes and so on. The camraderie is also a lot different there and there is a real spirit amongst the members. It has nothing at all to do with money either, as the new site is a profit sharing arrangement plus the contests they are running weekly at present for cash.
With regard to friends, rejecting or accepting them. When I was active, I generally accepted everyone who asked to be a friend, and would respond to their discussions. If however I found that they were not responding to my discussions or they had nothing that interested me, I would take action. Mostly I would send a personal message to the person about the situation and sort it from there. I did delete some who were on my list of friends, because they never responded to any of my discussions. Instead sent me lots of personal messages about money making schemes, with their referral details of course.
I do know that some people will only accept friends from certain countries or for an assortment of other criteria. That was/is not my style at all.
If a site promises the world, then it is time to consider how much time you spend on it. A lot of sites or forums make these grand promises, but only a few actually deliver the goods when the time comes. By all means spend time on another forum, but take care that you do not put all your time in there on the promise of big money is my advice to anyone.
In general, I work on the principle that if a site is offering a lot more per post than any other on the internet, then take care. I know a couple of sites have done that in the past, and the end result has been members have put in lots of time, some spamming like crazy but nobody got paid.

True,in terms of quality of discussions, mylot is the best and it may be the only forum where members can develop great interaction with other members.
I have been scammed by other forums, and it seems that the forum claimed to paid much better than the other,it was a dangerous signal indeed because they might not be able to pay at such higher rate to members.Thank you for your reply

I think those members who already received payment from MyLot but still leave because they realized that MyLot is not worth the time and money. They realized that if they just get a job at a local supermarket they will earn more. I am still here in MyLot even thought I got paid is because of the interesting discussions that I see and I'm also practicing my English communication skills here.

I never turn down anyone that ask to be my friend, even newbies, because i was new once and they do need our support.I know that that Tiki Tiki cash is some type of scam, all they want is for you to buy something and use your credit card and go into debt with companies in order to make any money. If you sign up for magazines and CD's and want to take a online college course they pay you some, but you also would end up in debt,so to me that is a scam...I have had different sites tell me i have made so much and then disappear without getting paid, but i suppose we have to take the good with the bad..I do like Mylot, and yes i did get paid from mylot. The last couple of days i have been disappointed in them some, they do not pay much. When I answer a post ,i always answer with a good reply, never a one liner.I am keeping a record to find out what each post pays..

Well I joined myLot about a month back and I am still quite new to myLot as comparison to many other members.Though I am happy to say that I am very much happy at myLot.I came here for money and initially I found it low paying. But when I read some discussions about how to post quality responses and how to earn more at myLot I have started getting much more for my responses then I used to get when I joined myLot.I have found myLot to be very logical in terms of payment. The better is your response/discussion the more you get.Further they given the responsiblity of determining the quality of the responses to the members itself.Though sometimes it may be misused but most of the times the ratings are given quite thoughtfully by the members.
I have tried to earn some money online previously also but all of the sites were scams and it was just waste of time.It is for the first time I hope to get some payment online next month when myLot pays.I also feel that myLot is not so much low paying as the new members think they should wait for some time and keep on posting good responses and paticipating in the site then they will find that their earnings also increase.

Well, I am a newbies here, This is the first forum that I ever joined for, I just knew it just a week ago, Joining mylots is such an interesting thing to do, aside from your earning you learn a lot from different points of view and it is a plus factor on my part. I love to hear and read new things here. I expect that you will not earn a big bucks here unless you have more referrals that participates a lot with the discussion.I think mylot is scam-free, In order to know if the website is scam or not, it is scam if they offer you high paying bonus which is truly odd! because how come will you pay at high cost someone by just joining and posting? Everything should be hardly earn. I hope you will agree with me. Mylot is not one of them! Thumbs up for mylot!

Welcome to mylot. I always like to meet any new people here.
Of course at this moment ,mylot will guarantee the payment once you reachthe payout target, and it has sustained its payment to members in the past 7 months or so which no other forums can like mylot.
Work hard and hopefull you will get your first payment next month.

i honestly think this is by far the best earning site ive ever come across for earning on the net. They may not be the highest payers but yet they pay us all the time. It is a stable server, has regular and predictable payouts and is great fun. It also allows us to make some great friends, it doesnt get much better than this.
blessed be

i would recommend you check your earnings again. count the numbers of posts you made for the day and then wait for the cut off then check your earnings and you will find out that mylot is paying us already higher than before.so far this is the only forum that has been very active in the net and i find this site so vast that we can respond to almost any subject at hand, unlike other forums where we are restricted to certain parameter of discussion.i am still enjoying my stint here at mylot.and as for your friend, i do not think that old member mylotians are descriminating new members in joining in, it is just one of those snobs, tell your friends not to mind them. there are thousands here who welcomes newbies.

I'm sorry but I think the title of your discussion has nothing to do with the text, so I'm quite confused here. If I answer the title, there was a very similar title that I just responded to yesterday. As I've responded in that discussion, I would say that people may leave myLot because if they're after earnings, they would soon realize that they're not going to get much here. Another thing is that, like me (an inactive member), some may quit myLot (temporarily or permanently) because they have a full-time job that they have to attend to. Also, some members may have some problems with the admin itself or with other members. Lastly, some members may not like the set-up, discussions, and the rules.
To answer your text, I have not been scammed by any other forum yet because I don't really have time to look into them, except for paidforum which I didn't pursue after a day (where I got $6) of trying, because I just felt uncomfortable with that site. I guess one just has to try out to find out, if he/she didn't want to make any research. Gut feel also works. Happy myLotting!

Yes i joined one scam site several weeks ago and now they are treating some kind of problem for over a month now. But i didn't really stay there for a long time. And I think most of the newbies leave because there were told that you can earn up to $1000/month in myLot and when they see that they receive like 1 cent per post they quit. But actually it is possible to earn that much. By making referrals. And yes I know guys who make this money. And newbies should know that.
