I still use the big bulky type monitor called the CRT. I would get an LCD monitor but right now I don't have the money. If I could I would try the LCD type soon and stay with it. The LCD monitor is way better than the CRT monitor. The screen is sharper, and it takes up less space. I am also not the techie type person, but I would choose an LCD over a CRT any day. LCD monitors are becoming more used now these days and most people prefer them. After all, it's the latest!

I'm using a 20 inch widescreen LCD. They are way better than the old CRT's, because they provide a sharper image, use far less power and have a better lifespan. They are also great in the fact that they don't create a magnetic field like the crt's, which is especially important if you do anykind of audio recording.

my computer works 12 to 14 hours a day for 5 days a week so I use the LCD type since it saves more on electricity, light weight, easy to clean and is not bulky.

I am still using the CRT monitor. The LCD type is still a bit expensive and I don't have a budget for it yet. I will try it soon enough when my old CRT monitor will conk out or when I have money for it. I will buy the LCD because it will save you space, it is lightweight, very pleasing to the eye, energy efficient and it don't have the flickering effect which causes headache. It is good to switch to LCD nowadays because they are becoming affordable.

I'm using an LCD monitor because it's slim, sleek and not bulky that's why I have more space on my computer table. I also save more on electricity by using an LCD and I also think it has less radiation than a CRT monitor. It's quite affordable nowadays, I really suggest you switch to one now. :)
