Do you ever get cold feet?

I know that everyone has experienced getting "cold feet," but I open this discussion to receive opinions on the theoretical and the literal sense of the phrase. I've wanted the change my mind after making a plan of action just as I suspect that everyone else has. The fact is that this affects those you made plans with; not just yourself. My problem is that I have cold feet all the time! This only affects me. It's bothersome not to be able to get warm. I have cold feet, hands, and buttocks in the middle of summer. I think the problem is from low blood pressure or something. What do you think?

as per past experiences, getting cold feet is a sign of poor blood circulation. Doctors would normally advise getting some specific exercises and getting into a certain diet.

Yres, I do get cold feet. It happens all year around, but it isn't as problematic when the weather is good. I have always assumed there is something a little bit wonky with my blood pressure or circulation. I have the same problem with my hands.

You could have low blood pressure, but your symptoms could also be from anemia, diabetes type 2 or another neurological disorder. I suggest a visit to the doctor to make sure.

Yes I do some times get cold feet, hands and buttocks just like you are saying even in summer the reason why you get this is due to the blood circulation not from low blood pressure as I have never had low blood pressure but I have had high blood pressure so now you know what causes this it is funny isn't it to have this when it is summer time.

I know a lot of cold feet as my mom is suffering from same problem. Cold feet are caused by a restriction in the small blood vessels of the feet when the skin gets cold. Circulation problems in the feet, such as diabetes, can also produce the sensation of cold feet. Tight footwear also may inhibit circulation of the blood vessels of the lower extremity and cause cold feet. RECOMMENDATIONS: The doctor recommends proper footwear as well as thick socks made of acrylic fiber, or a blend that will "wick" away moisture on an around the foot. He also recommends the Cold Foot Warming Packs which provide heat relief for cold, aching feet.

If you move more your metabolism revs up and you are warmer overall. Dressing for the weather is good as well as eating a good diet. As to personally acting as if you are undecided or unsure of yourself that is something you should work on. You have a value and worth, you have lived this long and learned alot. You are raising children and that is fantastic in itself. Believe in your self and value your own opinion. Good luck in all you do my friend.

I get "cold feet" both ways, literally and figuratively. Literally, as in right at this moment. It's been a stormy Sunday here at Philly at 4:27 PM. Very cold, so I have cold feet (which I usually get during cold seasons and at night). Figuratively, yes, I would always have "cold feet" whenever I make marriage decisions. Everytime, I would change my mind. But not to worry, I would be changing my mind along the course of decision-making, not during the stage when everything's being worked out. I just think that I'm not cut out for marriage yet. Happy myLotting!

Ok to answer your literal question first. I often get cold feet so I asked my doctor why that could be. He told me that cold feet could be a sign of poor circulation. Try rotating your ankles around in circles while you are sitting down. Now for the other. I am an extremely shy person that prefers to stay home. I often get cold feet because normally my friends like to do things in large groups. My partner now more or less pushes me to do the things that I have planned.
