This girl hosts £20,000 'TRASH BASH' party

I read about this in paper. London. A teenage girl aged 17 had invited friends over to her house in woodstone village near London, when her parents and siblings were out on a caravan. The girl blames her friends alleging that they had hacked into her account of myspace page. The invities mostly of teenagers had come from as far away from london and the neighbors had to chase away the partygoers at 4am in the morning. There were kids as young as eleven years in them. The house was completely in a wreck with urine, vomit and graffiti all over. Her mother (on the £230,000 house) felt as though the house had been raped. All her children's things had been trashed. I felt really bad after reading this article. Does this sort of thing happen in other places too? I wonder. What a state her parents and her siblings must be in? It is reported that she felt no remorse on what happened. So horrible.
