One book or more?

Do you usually read only one book or more at the same time? When I start reading something, I often start an other books. Just to alternate, if one of them doesn't satisfy me...

The only time I read more than one book at a time is if I get one from the library. It has to be returned at a certain time so whatever I may be reading will be put aside until I finish the library book. If I am reading more than one novel I will get the stories confused. I can read more than one book at a time if they are different types of books. Like right now I have a book mark in a book of poetry, a kind of self-help non-fiction book (N.O.W. No Opportunity Wasted) and a novel I got from the library. I have a bookmark in another novel but I haven't started it yet because the library book has to be finished first. I also have a book of short inspirational stories in the washroom.

If I get bored with the book I'm reading, I'll start another. I've had as many as three books going simultaneously, though only because I'm stubborn and make it a point to finish each and every book that I begin. I know some folks simply give up, but that's not in my nature! I have three books going right now, as a matter of fact. *grin*

I agree with you. Now I'm reading two books at the same times, and they are both interesting...

I usually only read one book at a time. The only time I get to read is on the bus to and from work, so there's no sense in having more than one book on the go. In any case, I just don't like skipping between stories. Unless its a really boring book, I'd like to keep reading to find out how things turn out. And if it IS that boring that I don't care, I'll just stop reading it.

I have lots of books on the go at one time I like reading and I don't find it distracts me. This is because I have hundreds of books I think so when I'm not reading one there's always another one I can start if it gets boring.

It really bothers me if I fail to finish a book and get started on a new one. I'm very OC with my reading. This stretches even to the readings I use in school. It's an attitude of mine that I'm yet to decide if good or not.

One good book read with understanding than reading it fast just to count how many books we have read in a day. A book read and understood can always be remembered.

I usually only read one at a time. One book though usually only lasts me a day. Once I start reading it I sit and read it till it's done. I've never been one to take several days to read a book. Now I might though have one book to read at home and one that is in the car. The one in the car is usually one I've read before though and it's there for when I have to wait for someone at the doctros (or similar). I'll sit there and read it and it's one I can pick up and put down without a problem. Other then that though it's normally one book at a time.

It appears that you love to read. I hope that you include these in your reading. I am a Christian, a child of God, baptized into Christ on October 1, 1989 and I belong to the Church of Christ founded and headed by Christ as shown in Acts Chapter 2. I am given the gift of knowledge and understanding Bible Greek and I translate the Word of God from Greek to English PLAINLY - Greek word into its English equivalent with additional words for grammar purposes written in italics so that readers may delete them when they so desire. I have already published GENESIS, EXODUS, LEVITICUS (Greek-English), THE WILL New Testament (Greek to English), ELEMENTS of SALVATION, The Right Way, GOD, ORIGIN, TRANSFER into PERFECTION, GREEK-ENGLISH (Grammar & Vocabulary), WORDS in THE WILL New Testament, and others shown at http://www.lulu.com/arseniajoaquin I have seen the versions being circulated worldwide and they are generally admitted to be 80% NOT translations. My translations are 99.99% translations and I see the truth, beauty, and sweetness of the Word of God. I hope these books could also help people understand the Word of God and be saved. May God bless you. SEN

One book or more, it depends. I really love reading and I love doing it seriously by concentrating on just one book. But I guess it depends on the kind of booking I'm reading. Sometimes it also helps when I have other books around dealing with the same subject.
