Shopping nightmares!!

You went shopping and pile up a lot of stuff inside the cart. You are ready to pay at the cashier but suddenly you realize you forgot your wallet at home! The cashier has key most of your your stuff!! People are queuing, waiting for you to pay! What would you do? have you experience such nightmare before? I think i have,:) and took it as a lesson for me. Once i've been a restaurant and ordered my meal. i was waiting for my meals when suddenly i realize i don't forgot to bring my wallet with me. luckily they haven't serve the food yet so i quietly slip out to avoid shame.

Hello, ergg78, I was a cashier and I used to work at night time. Many people did that so what I would do would be to tell the person to get his/her money from the home. We have two registers so I would just switch on the other register. If the person said they lived too far away or he/she would come back tormorrow then I would cancel the whole order. It is embarrasing so I always make sure I have my wallet if I go somewhere where I need to pay. Have a nice day.

i discovered that i was short of cash when i was at the counter ready to pay my stuffs. i had to call my brother who was in the car waiting for me to bring me some money.a line of people was forming behind me and i was so embarrased. when i finally got the money, i paid up & get the hell out of the store without waiting for the receipt. i nvr went back to the shop again!

Been there done that, include when the credit card doesn't work in there eftpos machine.
I've went into one of the local stores & relised I left my money purse in my other bag. Told the shop girl & walked out. Then found a few coins in the car ashtray & was able to go back and get the bread & milk I was after.
