I'm looking for some plastic canvas books or magazines. The only one that I have been able to find is for Annie's Attic. I know that there has to be more out there. Does anyone now where I can find them? I've tried our local WalMart but they don't carry patterns they just carry the supplies.

I believe they're owned by Ebay. It's basically where people can post their books, games and videos for whatever price they want but don't pay anything until the item sells. Then they take their fee and send the seller their money afterward. I've bought thru them a few times. If you do decide to buy, though, watch your shipping costs! They can add up fast so I try to find one person that has several items I want rather than buy from several different people. The shipping can add up fast enough that you aren't really getting a good deal and would do better ordering something from a regular retailer.

I have gotten a lot of my books through eBay and Bidville. I have also found quite a bit of books on the Yahoo groups through what is called 'round robins' Basically one person starts it out with say 5 books (there can be more though)...the next person gets it, takes out 3 that they like and they replace those 3 with 3 more and it goes out to the next person and so on. I have gotten great books like that. Also there is Needlecraft.com and they direct you to a site that you can join pattern clubs as well as buy the big hardback books. You can also find patterns on the Yahoo groups as well...lots of original ones desgined with plastic canvas design studio. Check out Yahoo Groups and do a search for plastic canvas and see what you come up with. Good luck.

I have a good friend who does plastic canvas items, and I found several books for her on eBay. She has quite a collection of patterns. I didn't know that Annie's Attic had any. Might have to check that out myself, since my friend's birthday is coming up in a few months.

I found a place where you can print patterns for free but there is no magazines published anymore from annies attic as of the march 2008 issue you can go to Hobby Lobby or Michaels craft store and they carry some books and few leaflets you might even try books a million if you have any of these stores in your area but I am sending you a link to the free patterns to download.you can also get lucky sometimes at the thrift stores like i have.I have several hundred patterns and several books if there is anything you have in mind you want send me via email a list and I will see what I can come up with for you.my e-mail addy is tonyandlonda@bellsouth.net and put in the subject line plastic canvas pattern want list.
Hope to hear from you.Londa Harris

I have 18 plastic canvas books, like new, only looked at. I desperately need to sell them, my husband has brain cancer and need money to pay bills.
