ss
That is why you could see my frustation from my previous post in the disscustions when i am earning just a few cents not even 5 cents after posting messages.
Now after joing for about 4 weeks, mylot to me is like chating to everyone out there and to share or collect views. Or just to throw my feeling and thoughts out in the virtual world where no one knows who you really are ... other than your friends who then becomes your referals...
Just want to thank all of you for responding and sharing your views...;

You can only earn "passive" income from myLot if you have referred people to sign up here, then you make a percentage of what they make. Since most people only get 1-4 cents for a post, you would need many referrals who posted alot to make any real money.
I'm glad you have changed you view of myLot and view it more as a social outlet than a money making venture. Most of the "happy posters" here view it that way,too.

Well, i'd say, the money, and the payment, and all of that is just an added bonus of mylot. Otherwise, it's just like any other ordinary forum with a difference of layout and features. However, i bet that if mylot were to stop paying, then most of the members would leave it! And, the worst thing is that the number of people who think like you, about mylot being a place for fun, are low.. so, they would desert mylot! Rather then stay and enjoy it!

You really don't earn a lot on this site, unless you have lots of referrals and or spend hours upon hours behind the computer.
I am averaging about 4 cents a post. To do that, I make sure that my answers are at least 4 lines long, and I try to make sure that I made a half way attempt at grammer and spelling.
You also get money for rating your questions answers. I did a little experiment on this one day, and found that I made 4 cents after responding to an answer and rating that answer. since this was the only thing that i did that day, I deduced that you do get paid for rating and responding.
Stick with your posts and enjoy yourself...you'll be making money before you know it!
I'll be positively rating your questions!
