Why do men forget the simple things

Welcome to my world! I believe that men focus on things that are important to them and don't bother with the little things. I have 4 children and at times I feel like there are 5 of them because I am always picking up after my husband also. One time the kids and I made a bet to see how long it would take my husband to pick up a dish that he left on his nightstand. We all put 1 dollar in a jar and picked a day of the week. My daughter won. She is only 6, but when she went and thanked her dad for making her the winner, he was like 'what did you bet on?' After this, it opened his eyes a little bit ( a very little bit) on the importance of cleaning up after himself.

My husband too has a habit of leaving things everywhere and i have to pick up them later. Whenever i tell him that he is making a mess he tries to mend things and would then again try to maintain things in proper shape but this does not last for long. I have become habitual to telling him every time he begins creating mess.

He was like that when you married him, an I'll bet you thought it was cute then. Your hubby would respontd to the toilet thing with, why do you leave the toilet seat down. as for thecoffee cup thing, just leave them, chances are he will go pick the cup back up when he has his nextcup of coffee. if this is all you have to complain about, you are lucky. My ex used to bring his girlfriend home and expect me to not get mad!

LOL I know exactly what you mean I am a stay at home mom and it seems no matter how much I clean house during the day it is still a mess before I go to bed the other night my husband had just gotten off work and came home went straight to the kitchen got all the stuff to make him a sandwich cheese, tomato, lettuce, bread, sandwich meat, mayo, ect. and took it all to the dinning room table after he got done eating he left it all on the table a walk right in the living room I told him you might want to pick that all up or it might not be any good tom. lol so him acting like it was such a hassle to put it up went it there took it all off the table and sits it on the kitchen table I told him why cant you just put it in the fridge it's right there he answers with I don't know I'm tired I worked all day LMAO

They say that men are too busy looking at the big picture and this is why they forget the little details. It apparently has something to do with the idea that they are hunters and gatherers. Meanwhile, we get stuck with all the little silly and aggrevating stuff. If it makes you feel any better, your'e not alone!
